Another example of big name, over priced! Though I have not had a Behike, I have heard that they are not worth the hype. I have heard that the maduro is much better and a great cigar.

Thanks for the generious offer but they would be wasted on me. I have lost my taste for them. I smoked them a lot in 2013 and early 2014. my tastes have changed a lot over the 20 years I've been smoking cigars, mid nineties to early 00's I smoked Dominican because that's all there was. 00's to 08-09 I went through my Cuban phase since then it's been Nicaraguan. This last year it's been boutique blenders and manufactures. I think I'm going to go back to Cubans shortly I'm getting bored and running out of boutiques.
I have a B&M which stocks them and others if I get the urge I'll get one.

I had a Nicaraguan wrapper hand rolled tonight. No band, came from a litle shop in sight of the Capitol in downtown Lansing. Owner of the shop gets in small lots of stuff like that.
It was awesome from the first draw. My wife described the aroma as "rich and nutty". Smooth, mild and a great even burn. Damn, I'll never replicate it.

A sign of a very good cigar, when the wife, or anyone, likes the smell of the smoke. Most times my wife doesn't say anything, unless it smells bad. There are a few that I like that the smoke is not pleasing though.

It looks like I'm the low-rent smoker here. I posted 40 or 50 pages ago that I was enjoying Romeo Y Julieta Reserva Reals.
My humidor has turned over: the bottom layer is Perdomo Champagne 10th Anniversary coronas. The top layer is a couple of Perdomo Champagne Sun Grown coronas, a Perdomo Lot 23 Robusto and a few Perdomo Maduro petite coronas.
Good smokes all, and less $$ than RYJs.

The perdomo champagne are a great smoke. I have a bunch in my humidor, they are worth a lot more than what they sell for. I go back and forth between the sun grown and the noir as to which is my favorite. If you can splurge one day find an edicion de silvio maauto, or a 12 year vintage maduro. Both are Fantastic, the best perdomo has to offer.
I may have to fire something up this evening. More ice to clean up off of the deck and steps. I am tired of the ice and wish we could get some of the snow that has been falling in New England!

I ended up smoking a Camacho Havana. Good smoke and they do not burn very long. It worked out well as my youngest son and I were pushing ice around and not getting anywhere with it. There is no scraping, as it is clinging to everything and I'm not about to chop at it. The sun is supposed to be out tomorrow, so that will hopefully melt it off.

Smoked the Tatuaje Jekyll yesterday while gearing up to go fishing and then for a little while on the river. Great draw with a gorgeous white smoke. Peppery and maybe a little cinnamon. I got it a little past halfway and then got caught up in a buttery brown trout and let it go out. The wind was howling so I couldn't get it fired back up but it was a great smoke for a great day. I didn't take a picture of my cigar so here's a picture of a lovely urban Atlanta rainbow trout... inside the perimeter.
I'm gonna vote for the funniest frog with the loudest croak on the highest log.

Well hell, I must have died and gone to cigar heaven! I'm traveling for work to Omaha. OMAHA? Well I go scouting to the mini-mall across from my hotel and I find a FREEKING CIGAR BAR!?!
Beautiful inside, (as is the bartender). No food, but plenty of beer and spirits...starting with a beer, then to a Knob Creek. So glad I brought sticks, tonight is a Tatujau Miami 10th. Beer is called a Blood Orange IPA, by Infusion brewing.

It is SO good! It earns the 'orange' name. They have an amazing exaust system here, almost no smoke at all. WiFi is blazing fast, my god, if they had this place in Minnesota I'd never go home! (and the bartender is HAWT!)
