“If Fox wants to be D.A. or go any further, she’s going to have to kiss the Obamas’ ass,” our source in Chicago politics tells BLP.
The Chicago Sun-Times just confirmed it: “Foxx’s call to Johnson came after an influential supporter of the “Empire” actor reached out to Foxx personally: Tina Tchen, a Chicago attorney and former chief of staff for former First Lady Michelle Obama, according to emails and text messages provided by Foxx to the Chicago Sun-Times in response to a public records request.

Yes, he's going to lose his appeal. The evidence is there, the trial was conducted properly.
Think about it. Think about how it's going to feel to have to go back to jail, and serve 144 days. Think about how bad only 6 days were for him. He would have been better off staying in there.

Maybe this liar will do himself in before going back a second time- those 6 days must have been an eye opener. We can hope.

The reason he's being freed pending his appeal is that by the time his appeal is heard and ruled on, his sentence will have run. The overall logic behind his release is sound.
I agree that he's going to lose.

What's the odds that he will get some REAL harassment now while he's out since people will know who he is? Do you think he will stay in hiding to avoid that? (sarcasm)

How many times have I said do not look for the worst in things and try to bring everyone around you down?
I strive to be clear and unambiguous in my communications. The fact that some of the regular members here continue to do these things, is not a failing on my part. I have very little patience for this shit.
Have you ever watched a fisherman set a hook and reel in a fish? The fish runs and fights. It thrashes and pulls against the hook. The fisherman lets his catch wear itself out knowing he has won. When landed, the fish flops around desperately and with futility. At the end the fish is placed in an enclosure and processed for consumption.
Except for the eating, this is a similitude for what we are watching. Sit back and enjoy the spectacle.

Gee, doesn't that logic apply to the Jan. 6th prisoners?

Sorry, I don't think that's the way it works. The sentence called for 150 days in jail. If his appeal fails, he'll have a total of 150 days in jail, of which he's served only 6. You don't get to serve jail time outside of jail, no matter who you are. If you're not in jail, it's not jail time.

I agree. He's being freed considering the possibility his appeal is successful. If it isn't, he goes back to jail.
