Skunk is a strong non-lethal malodorant crowd control weapon. Nowadays it is manufactured by Odortec, with two supporting companies – Man and Beit-Alfa Technologies. It is a commercial product and its recipe is a commercial secret. But we do know that the very base of Skunk is baking powder and yeast. It is a completely non-toxic yellow fluid, which works simply by smelling like rotting bodies and open sewage.

The smell of Skunk is difficult to describe, but it is very strong and not easily washed off. In fact, if Skunk gets onto your clothes, you may as well throw them away – that smell is going to stay in the fabric for up to 5 years. Even from the body it doesn’t wash off that well – that incredible stench stays with you for days, regardless of how much you shower. Just knowing that people run away from water cannons loaded with Skunk – if you want to work, go to school or even stay in house with your family, you cannot smell like that. Of course, there is a special soap sold to officers, who may get sprayed accidentally while trying to control the raging crowd.

In summary: 15yo is running around with a gun in one of Chicago's most gang, drug and crime ridden areas. Dipshit points and shoots at officers responding to "Man w/ gun" call. Officers return fire, hitting dipshit.

Neighborhood goes NUTS! Fights with police, bricks and bottles tossed at officers. One twat maces police officers at scene. -here's the kicker about that one: One of our inept higher-ups releases her WITH A STERN WARNING. No arrest in that situation. (good job boss )


A few malls got hit and were being cased on the south side around 1100hrs local. Shortly after 0000hrs local time, they converged downtown. (twitter/facebook live is most likely the organizing force behind this)
ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE.
Gold Coast/ Streeterville, Mag Mile (think Gucci, Louie Vitton, Rolex, Cartiea, Burrberry, Bloomingdales, Apple, Victoria Secret, BMW/Mercedes...), stores in the Loop, (State St & Michigan Ave) South Loop all got hit. Target, Macys, Nike store, Binny's liquor stores, Best Buy and a whole mess of other stores hit.
Geographically looking at a map- North Ave to the north, 22nd St (Cermack Ave) to the south, and everything East of the Expressway.
Rocks, bricks, bottles and any other thing that can be used as a projectile were tossed at police. Shots fires at police in a few locations, thankfully none of us got shot. A few cops almost got run over by cars. they were using cars to ram into storefronts to facilitate the looting. This one is all local savages. Not a lot of antifa / suburban white kids yet... yet .

Not enough manpower city wide to deal with the problems on a larger scale. No one closed down the entrances to the downtown area until way too late. Our front line bosses did a good job with what they had for the most part.

If history is any indicator, tonight will be interesting- they'll be looking for trouble in the other neighborhoods.

lightfoot in her press conf. took a shot at President DJT saying "we dont need help from the Feds! Not like that! He needs to focus on (wait for it...) COMMON SENSE GUN LAWS... bla bla bla... We dont need the National Guard...." If I haven't said it before- She's fucking retarded.
The news media is FINALLY holding our Cook Co. states attorney - Kim Foxx's feet to the flame and asking her about her abysmal conviction rate and her decision to drop charges against all misdemeanor offences from the first shit-show in May.

None of them has of now (12:30 local 10 AUG 2020) denounced the looters, or stated in the media what started this shit show, nor denounced a 15yo running around with a gun and shooting at police.


This is going to get a lot worse before it gets better here in Chicago.
The long term effects of this are going to be devastating to the City's already shitty economy. I predict A LOT of businesses moving to the more affluent suburbs where they can get more protection for their investments from other State's Attorneys, Mayors and Police. There's going to be A LOT more people moving from here and not filling up all of those nice, new condo's that have just been / are being built.
This covid shit is a game changer as well. Companies are realizing that they don't need to occupy all of that office space with everyone working from home or remotely. A LOT are going to be downsizing office space in the city.

It's no longer about protecting "stuff." It's about tamping out insurrection. It's no longer about protecting your home; it's about protecting your neighborhood. I texted a neighbor today and instead of using the term "Home defense," I now used the term "Home/Neighborhood defense rifle."

My, how things have changed this year. I have at least four neighbors I can depend on in the neighborhood. There are three houses in the neighborhood that have BLM flags or yard signs.

Hell has frozen over. My wife is now interested in learning how to use firearms and wants her concealed carry pistol since she commutes into Portland every day.
