10 day forecast has the coolest day at 91 and the warmest at 94. Oh, and the dew points will be in the 70’s. What does that feel like? Take a hot shower, step out and put your clothes on wet!

Apparently very few. I thought we were supposed to be making more of an effort to at least read the opening post before responding to the title only?

Oh for chrisesakes. Speaking only for myself, yeah, I’m aware of the screenshot in the OP showing a temp of 712°. The thread turned into one about local temperatures by the 3rd or 4th post on the 1st page. Eleven pages, not about the 712° photo.

Hey, do either of you have study hall with Susie Swotek?

Forecast here is for 100+ highs for the next 2 weeks, with a handful of days hitting 105-110. Not as bad as some of you guys get, but it's more than I'm used to. I have a friend who lives in Phoenix. Damn, just damn.

A high of just 71° today. I just wish it would stop raining. Flooding is our concern.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

We got an unseasonably cool break today. High of just 80 and a low of 60 tonight.

About 15 degrees below the norm for this part of summer. But it'll be back in the mid-90s this weekend.
