Save America, former President Trump’s political action committee, is out with a new 90-second ad that absolutely destroys President Biden over the botched Afghanistan withdrawal

“Joe Biden promised Americans a future of growth, strength, diplomacy, and power,” its description states. “He told us ‘America was back.’ Instead, he withdrew troops from Afghanistan before removing our weapons, our allies, or even our own citizens.”

“Joe Biden has backed down to our enemies and failed to protect our allies. Under Joe Biden, the Taliban is back – not America.”

It's not just the Taliban, either. Al Qaeda and other terror groups are also there.

Taliban does not control every nutcase over tbere. I bet Isis is even represented there in some form.

So, even IF the Taliban intends to treat US citizens in a kind and benevolent manner (unlikely, imo), there are plenty of other nutcases there with grudges to settle.

Unfortunately the cure with Biden is as bad if not worse than the disease, and as bad as it Joe and his CNA’s know the swamp, just like his reading the tele-prompter yesterday, deflect move to something different and down play Afghanistan and he will weather through this. Unlike most of us here, a lot of people lose interest quick, especially if he can give out more free shit, or you don’t have to pay rent.

This is not incompetency, it is by design.
There are procedures for destroying weapons, vehicle, secret info, materials for everything in the service.

Take an M16, you remove the firing pin and break it, take apart the bolt carrier group and toss the parts far and wide. Smash the receiver. All these can be done without tools, just brute force, vehicles, you set a thermite grenade on the engineblock. Aircraft, you remove sensitive items and smash engines or burn them, secret info is shredded or burned.
These procedures are gone over when issued these items, or when you are tasked with working on them.

Remember when some marine lost a rifle at LeJune, no one left the base until it was found. Same thing with NVGs.

Someone purposely did not follow standing orders on how and why to destroy sensitive items. We will never know who, but This was deliberate

'Won't get everyone out on time' | Two US Congressmen Make Secret Trip To Afghanistan, Detail Situation On Ground

Last Updated: 25th August, 2021 10:22 IST

In a joint statement, both US Congressmen have noted that the visit was kept secret to minimize the risk and disruption to the people on the ground.

Amid evacuation efforts and chaotic scenes in Kabul, two US congressmen and former war veterans flew to Afghanistan in an announced visit on Tuesday. Democrat representative from Massachusetts, Seth Moulton and Republican representative from Michigan, Peter Meijer flew down to the Kabul airport in a chartered plane to assess the ground situation in the war-torn nation.

After their return, Moulton who has been an outspoken critic of the Iraq War, took to Twitter to explain what he had witnessed and laud the heroics of the American forces on ground. "The world has truly never seen anything like what America is doing in Kabul this week—deeply tragic and highly heroic. Fear and desperation at their worst; hope and humanity at their finest," he said.

'Won't be able to evacuate everyone on time': US Congressman

In a detailed thread, the Democrat explained that that like other veterans, they came into the visit wanting US President Joe Biden to extend the August 31 deadline. However, after talking with commanders on the ground and seeing the situation, they realised that no matter what they do, the Biden administration will not be able to get everyone out on time. He also condemned United States' 'bizarre relationship' with the Taliban.

"After talking with commanders on the ground and seeing the situation here, it is obvious that because we started the evacuation so late, that no matter what we do, we won’t get everyone out on time, even by September 11. Sadly and frustratingly, getting our people out depends on maintaining the current, bizarre relationship with the Taliban," he said.

US State Dept 'furious' over visit

Meanwhile, sources have revealed that the US State Department, Defense Department and White House officials were 'furious' about the incident. According to them, the secret visit had was done without coordination with diplomats or military commanders directing the evacuation. The officials have viewed the visit as a 'distraction' for troops who were fighting against time in the war-ravaged country.

Issuing a statement, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi reiterated that it was important that members not travel to Afghanistan and the region during this time of danger. "Ensuring the safe and timely evacuation of individuals at risk requires the full focus and attention of the U.S. military and diplomatic teams on the ground in Afghanistan," she said.

In a joint statement, both US Congressmen have noted that the visit was kept secret to minimize the risk and disruption to the people on the ground. “As Members of Congress, we have a duty to provide oversight on the executive branch,’” the two said in their statement. The two military veterans serve on the House Armed Services Committee.

Sorry I'm calling BS on this. If Trump did exactly the same thing in moving out and it generated this level of Fuckery, he would be firing Generals left and right. I doubt anyone would disagree with that. So yes, this would have been handled very differently.

The fact that I still see Milly on TV using some language that vaguely resembles English half speak and farsee as an explanation for the current status of affairs, proves me right. It's like listening to the fucktard that got the ban hammer the other day.

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) also touted the evacuation as, “President Biden Defies Expectations (Again), Delivers Results in Afghanistan,” issuing a congratulatory paper Tuesday with gushing statements about the evacuation operation.

“President Biden has defied expectations and exceeded even his own administration’s goal in successfully ramping up evacuations from Afghanistan,” the committee continued.

The DNC’s paper highlighted MSNBC’s anchor Lawrence O’Donnell for suggesting the failed evacuation “is the best run evacuation from a war America lost.”

There is a risk in the “administration’s efforts to cast the evacuation as a smashing and historical success,” Politico noted, even as other countries lament the ongoing events at Kabul airport and across the rest of the country.

Biden’s Chief of Staff Ron Klein has tweeted evacuation numbers nearly every day this week, ignoring the policies that drove the country to collapse, even as thousands of Americans and other potential evacuees remain stranded.

Jesus H. Christo..... Mad

There's a time and place to do such visits, as veterans they know better to not insert themselves into such situations; one more thing for the ground commander to worry about and take away resources that could be better used elsewhere. I get what they're trying to do, trying to get first-hand info on the situation but, it still comes across as 'conflict tourism'.

At the very least, upon their return and when things are completed over there, they'd have better taken away enough info and references to start a Congressional inquiry and impeachment proceedings on the lead idiots of this debacle.

FYI- Meijer was one of a handful of GOP members who voted in favor of Trump's impeachment.

It's gotten to the point where I can't tell what is satire, and what is not.

This is like FDR bragging on December 8 1941, about how many sailors they rescued from the sunken battleships, even as scores more were locked in airtight compartments running out of air, eventually to die horrible deaths. "President Roosevelt has defied expectations and exceeded even his own administration’s goal in successfully rescuing American sailors."

I mean, the GALL of this 'administration' to try to put a 'positive spin' on perhaps the worst diplomatic and humanitarian FAILURE in this country's history. . .

The media has been covering for them for a long time. Sure there are a few calling the administration out now but in a few weeks it will be buried and covered up.

Now I am wondering what is going to happen August 31st if we don't have our citizens and those who helped us out of there? Will Bidet stay and if so does the Taliban start lining up prisoners 10 at a time in front of the gates at noon each day, executing them while wearing our uniforms and using our weapons and ammo?

Operation “Rolling Cluster-Fuck” continues as reported by The Gateway Pundit -

Up to 100 Afghan Evacuees Are on US Terror Watch List – At Least One Has Ties to ISIS

From the article -

“The Daily Mail reported:

As many as 100 Afghan evacuees flown out of war-torn Kabul are on intelligence agency watch lists, a United States government official warned on Tuesday as it was revealed one passenger flown out to Qatar has potential ties to ISIS.”

But don’t you worry none about these 3rd World savages with resumes chock full of experience in summary executions, beheadings, the burning and stoning of humans to death and having their way with farm animals getting into the USA because -

“ ‘Intelligence, law enforcement, and counterterrorism professionals are conducting screening and security vetting for all SIV applicants and other vulnerable Afghans before they are allowed into the United States,’ a State Department spokesperson told DailyMail.com.

‘We are surging resources to evaluate each case and process these as efficiently as possible to protect homeland security.’ “

See? It’s gonna be aok!

Did we? Or is this stuff signed over to the ANA? I can see the US military leaving MRAPs and other difficult/expensive to move stuff but I seriously doubt the NVGs and other sensitive stuff is actually on US property books.

Was listening to the Jay Seculow Live radio show a few minutes ago. They had a clip from a Pentagon spokesperson; as of this morning, approx. 4400 Americans have been evacuated. In addition to the two Congressmen referenced earlier, there are reportedly several others trying to put together assets (to include themselves) and get on the ground in A-stan.
