This stooge, er, student, David Hogg, is basking in his 15 minutes. Dad is a former FBI agent, and one site says they live in a gated community. So, guns to protect themselves, no doubt, in their safe little world--fine. But he wants "gun control" in school. He wants it NOW. He won't go back to school unless some law is passed. It doesn't matter what. He just wants a law passed. Because laws stop terrorists, criminals and psychotic killers in their tracks.

He is on a traveling lecture circuit, currently in NJ, I believe, where they desperately need more gun laws.

His ignorance is astounding...

I wonder who is paying for his lecture efforts / travel / etc...

Oh, Fox got an internal email from BSO... urging everyone to stand with the Sheriff against the personal media attacks...

Ok, he doesn't go back to school. Just charge the FBI father with permitting truancy, and drive on. I have far fewer give a shits about this than what the little snow flake seems to believe.

Let's see if truancy laws actually stop truancy.

Since an assault weapons ban has been mentioned above on the previous page, please allow me to copy what I posted in another thread...

My brother made me aware of this yesterday.....Does anyone remember (or did everyone forget) that an Assault Weapons Ban WAS IN PLACE when the Columbine incident occurred?? I believe it was the Clinton/Reno AWB of 1994, yes? Just a little nugget of fact of which snowflakes and sage, wise CHILDREN of 14 years Roll Eyes might not be aware.

Summary: Firearm bans DO NOT WORK for the criminally-minded. I love Chellim's signature quote by Spooner...it is SPOT ON!!

"If you’re a leader, you lead the way. Not just on the easy ones; you take the tough ones too…” – MAJ Richard D. Winters (1918-2011), E Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne

"Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil... Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the Lord Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel." - Isaiah 5:20,24

I had forgotten that, thank you for pointing that out.

Yes. ‎Glock 19 pistol; Walther P22 pistol

We know the Liberals path.

Ban assault weapons, semi auto rifles / pistols.

Then more crimes occur with pump shotguns. Ban them, for the children.

Then more crimes occur with revolvers. Ban them, for the children.

Then more crimes occur with bolt action rifles. Ban them, for the children.

Ban them all is their end goal. The means to get that is irrelevant to them.

Read Perterson's statement posted above and will simply say this, even an untrained novice person that has been to an indoor range or even walked by one for that matter, knows what shots going off inside a building sound like. A trained law enforcement officer very well knows the difference between indoor and outdoor shots. Very different tone and echo. Case in point, the hero coach Feis seemed to know exactly where they were coming from.

Sounds like the coach had a first-hand eyewitness report from a student, telling him exactly where the killer was:

quote:
Freshman student Chris McKenna told the Sun-Sentinel that he had told Feis outside of the building that he had seen gunman Nikolas Cruz, and that Feis went inside to assess the situation. “I told him I saw a gun,” McKenna said. “He said ‘let me go check it out.’

Yes, everyone else on the scene knew exactly where the shots were coming from and were running past the coward into the building to assist the students and teachers. There was no mystery, just a very shoddy and transparent attempt to obfuscate and excuse behavior after the fact that is reprehensible and inexcusable.

The student may have advised him that he had seen a gun but the key there is that he had already arrived at the building. Per other reports and accounts:

"Feis was among the first to respond to the gunfire, racing to the scene in his security golf cart before sprinting after the alleged gunman on foot. Survivors told the Herald that Feis shielded students from the bullets and pushed at least one girl out of the alleged shooter’s line of sight."

Georgia lawmakers voted Monday not to include a tax break in a bill that would have benefitted Delta Air Lines to the tune of $50 million, after the airline politicized the Parkland shooting.

The airline announced Saturday it was severing its ties with the National Rifle Association and its five million members in an effort to “refrain from entering this debate and focus on its business.”

The decision effectively punished the NRA’s five million members for the actions of a gunman who killed 17 students in Florida earlier this month — a tragedy the organization and its members had nothing to do with.

In response, Georgia lawmakers moved to strip a tax cut Monday they had been planning to include in a broader bill that would have benefitted Delta to the tune of $50 million. The bill sailed through the House but is now on hold in the Senate because of Delta’s decision.

“Corporations cannot attack conservatives and expect us not to fight back,” Georgia Lt. Governor and Republican gubernatorial candidate Casey Cagle tweeted Monday.

Does anyone else not like how this douchebag Sheriff (more a politician than Sheriff IMO) wears 4 stars on his lapel like that? He really fancies himself a big deal!
He is not unique. Jerry Demings, Orange County FL Sheriff (husband of ex-Orlando Police Chief Val Demings, who left her service pistol in an unlocked car to be stolen), wears four stars.

I live in the adjacent county: Seminole. I believe that our sheriff only wears three stars.
Jerry just likes his stars because they're gold and shiny. After all, he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer to put it mildly.

Did you know they recovered Val Demmings stolen Glock some time ago? Oh, you didn't? Gee, I wonder if that's because the local media refused to report the story. I on the other hand obtained the info from one of the OCSO officers I know. When you know the rest of the story you'll understand why the media stayed as far away from it as they could.

Yesterday afternoon, there was a committee hearing in the Florida Senate to debate various amendments to a gun bill, like an AWB, deputizing volunteer teachers so they can carry, etc.

Thankfully the worst stuff was voted down, but the lib groups had bused hundreds from South Florida into the capitol to rally and speak at the hearing. I made a video highlighting their best arguments Wink :
