The democratic battle cries will be:
If you are a person of color you MUST vote for her
If you are a woman you MUST vote for her

If you don’t vote for her, or dare to disagree with anything she says or does, you are a racist or misogynist

Either the Dems have given up and realize this is hopeless and are running this dumbass just to go through the motions and not lose all that money...OR they are planning on some sort of DNC Convention switcheroo shenanigans here.

I would not be surprised to see them dump Kamala at the DNC

Like the Soviets of old, the Democrats just lie, lie, lie. Kamala's speech yesterday was a confabulation of lies.

Trump should put together a series of ads around the theme of "The Party of Lies." For instance, on split screen, Kamala saying that Biden is fine, just fine! while on the other side, we see him in dementia moments. A whole series of "The Lie"/"The Truth." --Inflation, unemployment, the border, etc.

Kamala Harris wins enough support to clinch Democratic nomination
4 hours ago

Christal Hayes
BBC News, Los Angeles

Vice-President Kamala Harris has secured the support of a majority of Democratic delegates to become the party's nominee for president.

A survey by the Associated Press on Monday evening said she had received the endorsement of more than the 1,976 delegates needed to win the nomination in the first round of voting.

That means Ms Harris is on course to be crowned the party's standard bearer and take on Republican Donald Trump in November's presidential election.

It becomes official when party delegates hold a roll call vote ahead of next month's Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Chicago.

Delegates are people who are selected to represent their electoral area. Their pledges of support are non-binding until the vote but unlikely to change.

No-one has publicly stepped forward to challenge Ms Harris since President Joe Biden left the race on Sunday.

He found himself under mounting pressure from senior members of his party following his stumbling debate performance against Trump.

If the total holds between now and when delegates cast their votes, scheduled to take place from 1-7 August, Ms Harris would formally clinch the party's nomination.

The survey by AP is an indication of the groundswell of support for Ms Harris after President Joe Biden dropped out of the race on Sunday.

Since Mr Biden's announcement, ($81 Million) millions of dollars in donations have poured into her campaign and leading Democrats have lined up to support her bid as the Democratic nominee.

Kamala Harris’ ‘boycott’ of Netanyahu’s speech to Congress ‘disappointing,’ Israeli official says

So which is it? A scheduling conflict (important campaign stop in Indy?) or an actual snub? I'd think talking to Netanyahu would be just a little more important than a routine photo-op event. Especially if Biden really is out of action for a while.

The Dem power brokers might say otherwise. The Dem party isn’t democratic.

IMO she's already pandering to all the Israel-haters in the Dem Party and there's a lot of them.

I've already seen too many clips of Kackling Kamala on the news shows today. Something stands out tho, all the folds and wrinkles are gone. It appears she's been using some of that TV commercial face cream, or maybe had a facial?? Wink

I'm leaning towards this. They're giving up the presidency with the hope of being able to claim racism and misogyny while trying to protect as much of the democrat seats in Congress.

If they swap out Kamala, it's going to be even a bigger clusterfuck for them.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." I hope this power trip goes to her head like the Challenger shuttle.

Her not getting her (imagined) way and throwing tantrums in private, hemorrhaging staff, people she needs and better yet, some of them leaking video.

Seems they are already putting the spin on that, saw earlier that 300 former staffers have signed a letter attesting to KH being the best thing since yellow school buses.

Pretty high praise if you ask me. I was directly or indirectly involved in the dismissal of a number of folks in my 25+ years being a Supervisor and several others who “self-selected” their way out dropped my name as being a factor in their decision.

Can’t imagine any of those folks giving me a good reference, so she must really be great to have that kind of support from her former underlings… Roll Eyes
