It seems completely logical that the transponder would be turned off. He’s likely worried about an assassination attempt. It would be stupid if he wasn’t. I’m sure he’s in some secure location that only a few people know about.

Reuters separately reported — citing a Russian security source — that Wagner fighters have seized military facilities in the city of Voronezh, and the governor there has said operations are underway to put down the mutiny. Reuters could not independently confirm the situation there.

A Wagner convoy with armed vehicles was also seen traveling north on the M4 motorway, which links Voronezh and Moscow in the Lipetsk region, the BBC reported. The regional governor, Igor Artamonov, said Wagner is moving "equipment" in the region and has asked residents to stay home and avoid traveling.

I’m not certain an unstable Russia with a potential civil war happening inside its borders is going to be a good thing for anyone. I’m sure these globalist neocon/warmonger types are loving it though.

I’m curious what “military facilities” they have actually taken over. The local army office in a city or town isn’t particularly useful. Taking over a large base with a large number of troops, weapons, and supplies would be something different.

As far a controlling a couple of cities, it looks like all they’ve done is parked some vehicles in the street. The citizens are probably used to seeing military convoys passing through, and it’s still early, so probably no one know that there was a coup (if that’s what’s happening) going on. The Wagner guys had the element of surprise, but now that’s gone, so what happens from this point one may be quite different.
