Of course the market appears to have an upward trend today...It dropped 3% at the open! Honestly, IMO 'the market' hasn't really been trading and/or trending in any way that remotely reflects reality since December 2020. Get ready for a serious 'Gut Check' in the market...It's coming! ____________________________________________________________ If Some is Good, and More is Better.....then Too Much, is Just Enough !! And has since made that all back plus a little more in most sectors. Hence "slightly upward".

I don't think that would have come out in our favor. Russia had twice as many men and just as good equipment as the US did. And its leaders were not concerned with deaths of their men, either. flashguy Texan by choice, not accident of birth

A quotation from “Daily Mail” UK, quoting Whitehouse Spokesman about Trump: “Two nauseating, fearful pigs who hate what America stands for and whose every action is driven by their their own weakness and insecurity,' he began 'Rubbing their snouts together and celebrating as innocent people lose their lives,' he said of Trump and Putin Bates shared an article about Trump telling a crowd at Mar-a-Lago Wednesday night that the Russian leader was 'pretty smart' ‘ I think this is a totally inappropriate statement! https://www.breitbart.com/poli...ts-invasion-ukraine/ Thanks to the West’s environmentalists, those smug greenies who are more concerned with carbon output than world peace, this gangster controls much of the energy going to the European Union (E.U.). Per Statista, here are the countries most dependent on Russia for natural gas. The percentages tell us just how dependent: North Macedonia (100 percent) Finland (94 percent) Bulgaria (74 percent) Slovakia (70 percent) Germany (49 percent) Italy (46 percent) Poland (40 percent) France (24 percent). It gets worse. As of 2019, a full 27 percent of the European Union’s crude oil, 41 percent of its natural gas, and 47 percent of its solid fuel (mostly coal) come from Russia. Why? Well, it’s very simple. Russia is not stupid. Putin is not stupid. He drills and digs and fracks while Western countries pat themselves on the back for closing coal mines, refusing oil leases, and shuttering nuclear power plants. And in doing so, even at the expense of giving the gangster Putin leverage over them, these Western countries pat themselves on the back for decreasing their carbon footprints and going green… "I’m not going to read Time Magazine, I’m not going to read Newsweek, I’m not going to read any of these magazines; I mean, because they have too much to lose by printing the truth"- Bob Dylan, 1965

Why would we sanction Moldova? They're not an ally of Russia. Russia has an ongoing military "peacekeeping" presence in the breakaway region of Transnistria on the Moldovan border with Ukraine, but they've basically been occupying that area with the support of the Transnistrian populace but against Moldova's wishes. Moldova and NATO have been trying to convince Russia to leave Moldovan territory for over two decades. That'd be like sanctioning Ukraine because Russian troops had been occupying areas of the Donbas and Crimea.
