On which movie set in Indiana did these accidental discharges occur?

They were in a Mall. https://bearingarms.com/tomkni...ent-discharge-n51693 https://www.wthr.com/article/n...d6-adf5-98de719f6634 https://www.wthr.com/article/n...da-80d2-e15990506b5d flashguy Texan by choice, not accident of birth

What are Alec Baldwins favorite type of test questions? Fill in the blank. What did Alec Baldwin say after the director said "cut"? Let's take one more shot. A gun in the hand is worth more than ten policemen on the phone. The American Revolution was carried out by a group of gun toting religious zealots.

To be fair, I’d call it an instinct for self preservation. If I had to be surrounded by ignorant lefttards pointing guns at my work, I’d give serious thought to requiring those “guns” be blocks of solid rubber. If I were king, I’d take a different approach. The law would be changed to allow the prosecutor absolutely no discretion at all in cases involving actors working on a movie. The law of the land would be made clear and explicit that any actor would be held fully responsible for anything that happened while they were handling a gun on set or in any way associated with movie making (just like the rest of us would be in real life). Actors would be strongly encouraged (but not required, though they would have to sign a waiver declining the training and acknowledging their liability under the law) to receive training on safe handling of any prop weapon they are to handle in a film. Studios/producers/production companies/whoever is running things would be required to offer and pay for the aforementioned training and to pay for the actors’ time while they are being trained. Have a Baldwin, go away for a long time criminally, be fully exposed civilly as well. Having a system with armorers and close control of guns on set is a great thing, but it should never be assumed to relieve anyone who handles a firearm from the requirement to do safely. ETA: Individual responsibility, what a (apparently novel nowadays) concept.
|
Wait, what? |
If he was concerned about that kind of thing, he wouldn't have waited for Baldwin's little fuck-up. He knows as well as anyone that proper security, safety, and profession staff on set would have prevented this from occurring. The "Rock" has gone full leftard. A typical hollywood sychophant. “Remember to get vaccinated or a vaccinated person might get sick from a virus they got vaccinated against because you’re not vaccinated.” - author unknown

LOL, now Baldwin says he thinks there should be a police officer on each set specifically to ensure gun safety. https://www.foxnews.com/live-n...aldwin-shooting-rust "Every film/TV set that uses guns, fake or otherwise, should have a police officer on set, hired by the production, to specifically monitor weapons safety,” he wrote Monday. Umm, aren’t you one of the producers on the show where you shot someone? Why didn’t you do this? Also, why do you believe that police officers are any better than civilians or other people experienced with firearms in handling guns safely? The number of ADs in the hands of police seems to indicate that they aren’t any better. Just trying to deflect blame so if in the future someone else gets shot they can blame the cop.

Ignored facts still exist |
^^^ Wait, I thought Hollywood wanted to defund the police. How confusing. So if an inde film company wants to film in Portland for example, the police response time is open ended even for emergency calls, but they want a cop sitting around a movie set to inspect guns. That's F'ed up. .

What an idea. Let's hire someone who is trained at the safe handling of a firearm. Who is trained at running a range and keeping everyone safe. Let's call them Range Safety Officers.

What's the George Carlin line? "Think about how smart the average person is, then remember half the people are dumber than that"... Looks like they're all involved with Hollywood somehow. Looks like Alec just wants someone else to blame when shit goes south... ______________________________________________________________________ "When its time to shoot, shoot. Not just to avoid blame if someone gets shot in the future, but it’s also a somewhat-subtle way of saying, “Although we didn’t realize it at the time, not having a police officer present to ensure safety is why that incident happened.” That in turn distances the responsibility further from the actor who pointed the gun and pulled the trigger. It’s similar to saying, “There was no lifeguard there to warn us about rip tides, and that’s why my brother drowned.” Not only should someone else have been there to ensure the safety, someone else (probably the government) should have ensured that someone else was there to ensure safety. We see that sort of argument all the time about countless different things when trying to deflect attention from the real issues, “Why didn’t somebody [not me, though] do something‽” ► 6.4/93.6 ___________ “We are Americans …. Together we have resisted the trap of appeasement, cynicism, and isolation that gives temptation to tyrants.” — George H. W. Bush

Great idea, that officer can also assure that all vehicle related stunts are done properly as they clearly have experience with accidents. They can also oversee any scenes involving eating as they do that on the job quite often as well. Who'da thought police officers were such experts in everything. Firefighters of course but officers really boggle the mind. Another example of Baldwin's ignorance and a pathetic effort at damage control .. But his target audience probably loved the idea .
