Eek

We keep our thermostat at 62 in the winter. Some of you guys are at 76?! My mother would have chopped my hand off if I put the thermostat to anything north of 64.

After reading some of the answers I'm starting to feel like I'm missing something.

Winter: 72°F waking, 69°F sleeping. Summer (IIRC): 76°F waking, 72°F sleeping.

With as cold as it's been, lately, it's occasionally getting bumped up to as high as 73°F waking, because of how much colder it gets near the outside walls and windows, and in the largest room, with the most windows, in which we spend the most time.

We usually keep it at 66 (sometimes 68) during the day, and have it drop to 62-64 at bedtime.

We like to be cold and bundle up with the blankets at night.

Thermostat is set at 68, the temperature is 74. Wood stove does a great job of heating this place.

Just crested 50°F, from a low of 47° this morning. Power has been out for two days now.
Just secured a generator from work, and have two small heaters going.
Shooting for 55° by bedtime.
