Brrr. My lack of body fat has caused me to raise my indoor temperature. 75° when I'm asleep at night, 77° during the day.

You can't truly call yourself "peaceful" unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of great violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless.

Yes sir, we just had an 'unprecedented' heat wave. Haven't seen on like since the last one just like it.

As someone who has lived all over the country, I’ve found the answer to be highly dependent on ambient temp and ambient humidity.

When I lived in the Upper Midwest, I kept the AC on 68 because it felt good, the AC Ran enough to reduce the humidity, and I could afford it.

Here in Houston, I keep it 73 because it feels good, the AC runs enough to knock down the humidity, and I can afford it (I live in an energy efficient 3 year old home and my electric bills are lower than when I lived in a 1000 sq ft smaller home that I kept 76. I was the 1st owner in it too and it was energy efficient by 2005 standards). I was in the hospital for 3 days last week and froze my arse off because they kept it 68.
