67 at the thermostat, closer to 62 near the exterior walls, and 60 in the basement offices.

If it drops below -15 outside, we kick up the thermostat to 70 and open the basement well room & utility room doors. At -20 or colder we open cabinet doors and the heat runs pretty close to non-stop with the thermostat set at 70, we can maintain about 68 running nonstop.

The joys of 70's 2x4 construction in Alaska...

18 degrees outside and 71 inside. Heat pump hasn't run for a week or longer since I've been here, or only away for a few hours at a time, to tend the wood stove. My shop, where I just came in from, stays at 62 in heating season.

Thermostat is set for 72 degrees in the morning (about 30 minutes before she gets up) for about 90 minutes then to 62 degrees. At 4pm - ish, goes back up to 72 until 10pm, then back down to 62. Only a few nights will the greater kick on and then it's from 3am until it goes to 72.

However, since working from home, I tend to keep it at 72 until about noonish when I can open the back of the house to catch a couple hours of sun and fresh air.

I have been without power and water since 5am Monday morning. It is 46 degrees inside my house right now. I have been having to melt snow to be able to add to the toilets to flush when needed. This is insane! They say they are doing rolling blackouts, but for me this is one long ass rolling blackouts for me! Tonight is another winter storm with freezing rain. That is going to screw up being able to melt more snow to flush toilets or wash dishes. Some people have water and some have power, but I have neither.

Winter 68° @ 5 PM, 55° from 6 AM until 5 PM. From 11 PM until 5 AM 60°.

Summer 72° until 9 PM, from then until 7 AM 70°. I sleep better cooler temperatures.

Plus in the winter, I'm on propane and that helps keep costs down.

Current temperature in MQT: 7 above.
Lower portion of my townhouse is 72. Upstairs (bedrooms) is 68.
I like to sleep cool.
And a few years ago my landlord installed an amazingly efficient gas fired hot water heating system that also acts as a water heater too. When the temperature rises to around 32, I have to turn back the settings on the system or I roast.
