Took 5 today. Started with 3 vowels, not in the right place. Was having trouble spelling the word, but I know what it means.

In four today but only because I had all the letters and knew where most had to be after three. I had to look it up to see if it was a real word.

Yesterday's "ennui" I thought at first was unfair, being an out and out French word. But then so is "adieu" and no one complains.

Same, in 3, I'm rather blase about the use of words formed from other languages, guess to the NYT, words are words, regardless of the language origin.... Imagine some are done because they are used in normal daily conversation by many, Adios!

Took me 5 today. I had 4 letters in the right place in 3 but there were several possibilities for the remaining letter. I used a test word with all the possibilities in it to get the right letter.

Had 4 letters, but none in the right places. Downhill from there.

Squeaked by on try number 6.

Got it in 5 today.

5 today, one of those where I got 4 letters quickly, leaving me with at least 4 words it could have been. Just a guessing game at that point.

Got it in 5 also. Just lucky because the possible solutions outnumbered the guesses I had left.

Busted, would never guess that word, consider it slang. Last three guesses had last four in the right place.

Two for me.
My first word included all 5 letters - had one of them in the right spot even.

Took me 5 today. Unusual group of letters.

much the same for me. on third try had last four letters in the right place. guessed wrong on four and five, finally got it in six.

Four today so I feel better.

only had 2 letters up to 5 tries, then got lucky on 6th! Fun little game tho...
