3, pretty much luck.
After casting a net with the first two tries, I could see at least 3 possible solutions. Lucky choice right away.

I had the first three letters in order on my third try. Guessed wrong on 4. Guessed wrong on 5.
Finally got it on 6.

Got today's (20th) in 4. Now for a drink.

I was getting worried today when I only had two letters (both in the right places) after four tries. Fortunately, I'd burned enough letters that I was able to get it on the fifth try.

I agree, this one was tough. I had two letters in position after 3 tries and didn’t like the number of possibilities left so I skipped the letters I had and used guess 4 to eliminate five more letters and some possibilities. That left two words that I could see with the few letters left and I basically flipped a coin to get it on row 5.

Got it in 4 today.

had a great week until today. it took all six tries but at least I didn't get whitewashed haha!
