3, pretty much luck.
After casting a net with the first two tries, I could see at least 3 possible solutions. Lucky choice right away.

I was getting worried today when I only had two letters (both in the right places) after four tries. Fortunately, I'd burned enough letters that I was able to get it on the fifth try.

I agree, this one was tough. I had two letters in position after 3 tries and didn’t like the number of possibilities left so I skipped the letters I had and used guess 4 to eliminate five more letters and some possibilities. That left two words that I could see with the few letters left and I basically flipped a coin to get it on row 5.
