Took 5 today. Started with 3 vowels, not in the right place. Was having trouble spelling the word, but I know what it means.

StarTravelerIn four today but only because I had all the letters and knew where most had to be after three. I had to look it up to see if it was a real word.

Yesterday's "ennui" I thought at first was unfair, being an out and out French word. But then so is "adieu" and no one complains.

Same, in 3, I'm rather blase about the use of words formed from other languages, guess to the NYT, words are words, regardless of the language origin.... Imagine some are done because they are used in normal daily conversation by many, Adios!

flashguyTook me 5 today. I had 4 letters in the right place in 3 but there were several possibilities for the remaining letter. I used a test word with all the possibilities in it to get the right letter.

jhe8885 today, one of those where I got 4 letters quickly, leaving me with at least 4 words it could have been. Just a guessing game at that point.

much the same for me. on third try had last four letters in the right place. guessed wrong on four and five, finally got it in six.
Four today so I feel better.
