I swear I had something for this |
The other big note about the new Monaco contract is that it moves to the first week of June after 2025. I'm kind of sad because we lose the "Most Prestigious Day of Racing" for morning, noon, and night. On the other hand, it's also said to move Canada to after Miami so they can stay in North America and save on transportation.

Marko (as referenced in that link) pushing young drivers to boost their cred for F1 seats be doing more on social media seems to have the eye off the ball. He opposed Ricciardo getting Perez's slot, even for part of a season, when he has a much higher social media/web recognition than any of the other options. Certainly the problems with the Red Bull car may have still not fit DR's driving style, but bringing him up, even if it was on a "rest of the season" deal, subject to renewal would have done no worse on the track, and better than how it played out off the track. _________________________ NRA Endowment Member _________________________ "Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. The totals are fun, but I'd like to see the underlying assumptions. Not because I'm questioning them as much as I'm interested in their estimates on a component by component basis. You only have integrity once. - imprezaguy02

Supposedly, they're based on the team's estimates to the FIA in regards to the Cost Cap in place. It's also something that has only recently happened since I can't recall ever hearing of this more than 3 years ago.

Why don’t you fix your little problem and light this candle |
I got to admit I am pretty excited about this movie. . . Link to Article Lewis Hamilton input ‘costs us more money’ in Brad Pitt F1 film reveal Sounds like Lewis is making it as authentic as possible. Maybe I will drive to see it on the Imax . . . This business will get out of control. It will get out of control and we'll be lucky to live through it. -Rear Admiral (Lower Half) Joshua Painter Played by Senator Fred Thompson

Cautiously optimistic, from the trailer. Hard to top Rush, IMO. The Enemy's gate is down.
