Liam's going after the Red Bull seat with one hand tied behind his back, driving a car that's clearly inferior to Perez's car.
Bearman Colopinto and Lawson are doing an amazing job.
I suspect Haas may be questioning their signing of Ocon so early when there are some great talents looking for a ride next year.

Not a bad Sprint. Great to be able to watch live.
Good run at the front, but some surprising gaps at the rear.

'Spoiler': Crazy to see Zhou get 2 overtakes

Now looks like qualifying will be run early Sunday AM. More rain expected this afternoon and the tracks already underwater in places.
Lots of talk about the new drivers and where of if they'll be on the grid next year.

One other that doesn't get much mention is Yuki Tsunoda who looked like a possibility for the Red Bull seat next year a few races ago.
Since the break his stock has gone down tremendously since Lawson is making him look pretty average.

There have obviously been huge developments and we missed it. If this is some collusion to get us to spring for streaming (F1 TV, whatever), it's worked. We are pissed!

Watched the entire race (it was on ESPNU). Incredible race.

I knew the race would start at 1030 EST, and flipped through the ESPN channels to see if any were carrying it.

F1TV is worth it.
Far better that the regular tv options and you can cancel the regular network stuff and miss nothing of value.

Agreed, glad I made the switch. Though I still do the SkyF1 commentary over the F1TV commentators.

Also: No one could've guessed that finish, unreal.

Curious why you go with sky commentary over F1 tv ones? Isn’t Alex Jacques one of the F1 TV ones? I was considering this season switching over but will probably next year.

I watched Sky for a season before getting F1TV.
Apple’s and oranges. Both are far better than the US network shows in earlier years.
The commentary is very knowledgeable and the pre and post shows are great too.

I was accustomed to SkyF1 from the ESPN coverage & just stuck with it.

For those watching races on ESPN via either cable package or direct subscription with them - you can access their library on the app and watch race there. That's what we did for this one.

Crazy weekend, all around.

No one else was docked positions, but just about half the field got a fine, reprimand, or both for all the procedure violations.

The video of him turning around and then driving directly into the gravel trap almost looked like it had to be fake. How in the hell can he be so stupid when there was pavement right there as well?

Cheering 'Drugovich' was the comment I saw.
Also, looked like that JCB was nearly stuck too. Shocking how deep that gravel trap is.
