Mildly entertaining, but way too many "why the hell are they doing that" or "why don't they just" moments.

I watched it at oh-dark-thirty so perhaps my mind wasn't fully functional. What a goat rope! Gets a D- from me.

I'm confused.

Didn't Mace Windu get killed in one of those crappy prequels?

Windu got blasted out of a window and it is "assumed" that he died in the very long fall.....but he was a powerful Jedi and it is possible that he survived.

Wow. Shielded dual-wielding droids that shoot non-stop for 15 freaking minutes, yet fail to hit/kill a SINGLE freaking human target (of which there were many, running straight down a narrow street 50 feet Way.).

Granted, it's very rare that a single droid is capable of hitting anything.

Just one of the many stupid aspects of the episode.

Only reason I gave it a D- instead of an F is the very last scene with Grogu lobbying Mando was fun.

I wonder if that was the original storyline for Baby Yoda or if they had to change due to his popularity.

I'm in the "meh" crowd. My 11 year old son liked it.

Doomcock is pissed!

Apparently they used an imperial stormtrooper as a standard for their targeting algorithm. It was pretty sad. Almost as stupid as people constantly shooting with zero effect at a shielded droid.

A fair amount of action ruined by the incredible stupidity of some of the stuff. The only one who came out of this looking competent was Fennic Shand. In fact, she probably knew it was going to be a sh*t show, and that’s why she left to take care of things on her own.

Can’t help but think that The Book Of Fennic Shand would be much more interesting.

IG-11 took out a couple dozen mooks in Mandalorian.

K2SO took out dozens of mooks in Rogue One.

The Droideckas in Ep 1, upon which these seemed to be based (spherical shields, spider legs, dual cannons), kept 2 Jedis pinned down so they could be captured.

The whole thing seemed written for (or by) an 8-yr old.

And they killed off the 2 Gamoreans, but not a single one of the other good guys? The mooks attack a wookie with melee weapons, and end up dog-piling him? And Cad Bane could shoot through Boba's armor, and all the while NO ONE shot Bane in the back all this time?

Sooooooo disappointing. Yeah, Baby Yoda was cute, but he was in the wrong show.

I did like that comment "Grogu? That's a stupid name. I'm not calling you that."

What a steaming pile of shit...

So much bad...Doomcock insists the Han Solo scenes were cut, not sure where he would've come in but, the entire episode was full of fail.

Horrible

Doomcock says "I have loved Star Wars all my life, but with this atrocious finale that backpedals over previous plot points while boring viewers with uninspired "action" sequences and terrible character development, I find this has finally killed my enthusiasm for Star Wars. I held on as long as I could, but from this point on Disney has to win me back BIG TIME before I'll even bother to watch anymore."

And from Thor Skywalker...

Yeah I don’t care what show he’s in, Olyphant shouldn’t ever be losing a high noon quick draw, it’s sacrilegious I say. Glad to see he’s not gone. Either way we get a new season of Justified soon though!

I really wish they'd hire military advisors for episodes like that. What, with a tiny bit of effort, could've been a great battle, was just a huge clusterfuck that didn't make any sense. Use cover, bound, flank, fire and maneuver, hasty ambush, displace, get the high ground, etc. Oh and don't run straight away from the fucking death robot all clustered up in the middle of the street together. Super simple concepts that I guess just don't exist in the star wars universe.

But... it seems there may be a chance of Justified in space and I'm 100% ok with that if he's in the lineup to get his own star wars show Smile

I didn’t care for the way Grogu was returned. Seemed a bit beneath a Jedi who promised to take care of him to do something like that.
