Hahaha. I actually like the aesthetic of the Taurus better.

Honestly, me too. The Kuna is kinda ugly, especially the blatant ripoff of the Scorpion stock, which I think is ugly as sin. One of the things I like about guns like the ACR, SCAR, Stribog, et al. is their embracing the square receiver/handguard extension aesthetic. Just straight utilitarian, no unneeded curves and angles. The Kuna designers seemed like they wanted to add a bunch of lines to pretty it up and wound up taking it in the other direction a bit. Anyways, in the spirit of utilitarianism, I won't let that stuff bother me. If it makes it to market and proves to be a solid performer, I'll put function over form. As for the chambering, I happen to have a whole lot of .40 that I inherited. Range ammo, Remington DOJ contract duty loads, and even simunition. Cases and cases of it. A whole Rubbermain chest full. I was kicking around ideas for a .40S&W PCC with some friends a few months ago just because, and started going through the whole thought exercise again. The Kuna starts where I wound up with on the Stribog. ______________________________________________ Endeavoring to master the subtle art of the grapefruit spoon.

You've seen this, right? Roller delayed, takes UMP mags. https://palmettostatearmory.co...ce-197892004848.html ______________________________________________ Endeavoring to master the subtle art of the grapefruit spoon.

I did not realize they were making a 10mm. I paid a little attention to the Stribog many years ago when it was first released many years ago. Seemed like folks were having a lot of issues and I quit paying attention. Mags look to be $40 or so. I like the $25 mag price for the Springfield. Also would not mind owning a gun made in Croatia as I have been there. Guess I’ll have to do some more reading on the Stribog. ———————————————— The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad. Mags for the 10mm Stribog are not $40, unless maybe the Grand Power ones. Yes, the SP10A3 (and SP45A3) takes UMP mags, but HK never made them in 10mm because they never made a factory UMP in 10mm. The only 10mm UMP mags are converted .45 mags that were made for an aftermarket UMP conversion and run like $140 each. The mag situation is one of the reasons why I went with the .45 Stribog, but went with a CMMG MK10 for my 10mm PPC.

I'd maybe give the Taurus a shot, if the price is a significant savings & it plays well with a suppressor. I do think the Kuna looks better overall. The Enemy's gate is down.

HA! I may just be onto something, here. I've heard about this thing being in the works for a while now. If it looks like a Scorpion Evo 3, well, that's because Lucanski is the guy who designed the Scorpion Evo 3. ______________________________________________ Endeavoring to master the subtle art of the grapefruit spoon.

^^^ That was one of the COOLEST new PCCs I've seen. What a sweet blend of features from other designs. I want to get my hands on one of these. ________________________________________ -- Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. Cool to have some options out there that aren't MP5 priced... The Lucansky & Springfield will definitely get a look by me once they start arriving on shelves, maybe the Taurs could tempt me if it's a significant price difference, to dip my toe in the PCC market. The Enemy's gate is down.

That is pretty cool. Definitely simpler than a roller system. And if they can really deliver for under $1000 that would be awesome. I'll be keeping an eye on these.
