I may end up regretting it, but I am picking up another Glock tomorrow.

A Glock 37.

I would not have considered it but what I am trading for it I have about $300 in. And it is coming with 200 rounds of ammunition.

The cheapest I have found .45 Gap is $34 for a box of 50 Speer Lawman. Looks like I will be shooting it sparingly if any.

Shooting the 26 best seems to be a common event! MG

Thanks!

I have a feeling that the G19 or G33 will land in my hands by the end of the year.

Picked up another Glock, the apparent outcast of the Glock family, the G37 .45 GAP.

Love this thing. Have only got to run a few rounds through it but I think it's the best shooting Glock I have fired.

Bought a LNIB G22 gen 4 for 445.00 not bad but not sure about the 4 back straps that came with it. Feels fine without them

SCORED a 2 letter Ser# MD **** G19 Made in 1990... $399.

Was in my local Gun Shop today looked down and the Glock Gods were smiling back at me with this GEN2 19...
The Frame on the Left side even has the little 19 stamped on the trigger guard.

I couldn't buy it fast enough.. Has the original non captured spring and it has the NY trigger spring set up. The Barrel has little wear I'm guessing less than a few hundred rounds. Prob a NY gun carried but not shot.

Never thought I'd find one of these again in this shape here in Northern CA..

Just wow..
Sorry for the crappy CellPhone Pics.. and my bragging.. Wink

WOW>>> Eek

That is an awesome find..

I didn't know any of the 19s had that stamped on the frame.
I thought only the Gen 1 G17s had that.
It looks to be in great shape..

Very nice! I love the Gen 2 G19s. The only minor complaint I have with the design is that my hands are large enough that my pinky sits right on the crescent cutout at the front of the grip. But that's an easy fix with some Pearce PG-FML baseplates: http://www.pearcegrip.com/Products/GLOCK/PG-FML

The early G19s did as well. I have a "HR" prefixed 1989 production Gen 2 G19 that has the "19" molded into the trigger guard as well.

I had a Gen2 earlier foolishly trading it thinking I'd get another and I kept all those base plates... My old Gen2 also had the "19" on the trigger guard it was an "A" series and had all the Austrian Stamps on it... I was lame to let it go.

Can't wait to get it home after our stupid DROS cooling off period... here in CA..

My friend also swears by his as the best glock he ever owned. A G38 He exclusevily carrys it and a G26.. He owns a lot of nice 1911s and use to carry them... Baer,Brown & Wilson etc.. Now he Trusts the Glock 38 45Gap. Prob rather risk it to the evidence locker Wink He says it's very accurate and soft shooting... He re-loads for it. Congrats.

Nice find, Ranger. My very first Glock was G19 like yours, which I purchased 20 years ago, and still actively use. Two months later, I purchased a G17 but I didn't like it as much and use it as much. It took me a long time to warm up to the longer grip of the G17. I traded off that second generation pistol and bought a new third generation 6 months after they were introduced, and that pistol has become a constant companion.

It's been said a million times that the G19 is widely considered to be ideal for a defensive pistol, and if you are at all inclined towards Glocks, this is a hard point to argue.

Nice score on that early gen 2, Ranger, looks like it's in great shape. Gen 2 19's are something special in the Glock lineup, imo. Enjoy yours.

Well Said Para!
--- Im really fortuate to own this one...

180+ pistols in my 40 years...of gun ownership most within the last 8 years... there was a lot of fun and trial in owning and trading away so many.

What I learned from all this is:
The Glock 19 and in particular the Gen II is just the best all around fit for my needs. I do love the G26 as well.. But the 19 is just "IT".

Whew! Wink

Thanks for everyones comments..
Have a great week!
