I love the fact that this thread has kept going. Still sticking to primarily glock since my initial conversion, in the form of a 19, a 31, and a 34. They just work. Had a 21 and sold it, regretfully. With mag restrictions now in place, the caliber discussion changes a bit when limited to 10 rounds. I've decided to give a v7 HK45 a try as the nightstand gun from here on out. All else fails I'll dump that and get the gen 4 G41 I had been planning on getting in 45 anyway. Had toyed with the idea of a 43x or 48 as an alternative carry option, but between the 19 and my 442 pro, I don't see anything it does better-enough to buy one. ________________________

I played with a new gen 5 G21 at the lgs last weekend. It's definitely the .45 I want to get but I'll wait for the non mos version.

I think you may be waiting for forever.

I don't think they plan on releasing a non MOS gen 5 G21. I mean its Glock so they might as soon as everybody gives in and buys the MOS but at this point I don't think they are doing a non MOS. "Guns are tools. The only weapon ever created was man."

It's a want rather than a need so if they don't I'll just stick with my G45 and G19 and be a happy guy. Maybe I'll find a gently used on down the road and pick that up. Either way I just want to avoid paying an extra $100 for a feature I'll never use.

Thank you Very little |
Doesn't look like that is an option, but, you never know if enough dealers and customers request it. Wouldn't be surprised if every future rendition of Glocks Gen 5 and up will be MOS capable it's the way the market has moved.

God I passed the need off ramp so many miles ago I am several pages forward in the atlas. "Guns are tools. The only weapon ever created was man."

Need is subjective and I can always convince myself of it's existence when it strikes me. My old man has a beat up old Gen 2 G21 that I just love to shoot so when the Gen 5 featured version came out I was pretty excited as I don't care for the finger grooves and like the new texture. This seems to be the closest thing to the gen 2 but with the upgrades I like.

I’ve been expanding on my herd of .357 Sig pistols recently which meant I must pick up a G32, mostly because it’s not a G19. She’s the plainest of my recent baby’s but it’s very likely it’ll show up to work when I need it. I’m anxious to put some lead down rage with it, hopefully this week it’ll be warm enough to comfortably step outside and make some noise. .357 Sig. It makes shooting Glocks fun. I am not BIPOLAR. I replied on this thread years ago. I can’t tell you where my reply is. I can tell you where my 19 is. Thanks Para. “Crisis is the rallying cry of the tyrant.” – James Madison "Keep your fears to yourself, but share your courage with others." - Robert Louis Stevenson

You wont regret a G32. Excellent pistol, I had one and loved it, and for some dumb ass reason sold it. Had to correct that mistake. Don't weep for the stupid, or you will be crying all day

Just can’t do it Para. They just feel like I’m holding a brick. I love the white outline rear. I’m sure it would be quick and handy with an orange HD up front. There’s too many comfortable choices out there.

It's been a while as you are going to be able to tell but... WTF is up with the front serrations on the newer Glocks? Holy hell they're UGLY. Are people really THAT concerned about wet hands or 1 handed operation? I know it's mirrored to the rear serrations but I've never seen something that's balanced look so off.

Huh. I happen to like them. They, and the beveling on the slide, gives the Glock a finished look, for a change.

They look like absolute shit in my opinion. I suppose the rationale- other than being trendy- is that they are there to help you rack the slide once you attach one of those unnecessary electronic tumors over the rear serrations. Call me crazy, but I tend to keep my hands away from the muzzle of a loaded firearm. I bought my three gen5s- a 17, 19 and 26 before Glock defaced their pistols with these serrations and "slide plates".
