Very nice, Vemon. I managed to score an EDC-1 before they were gone. How do you like the 2?

Butch, I think Ernie would intercede and say that this is an Emerson, that it is his design. I do like the lines on it, a bit like the Gentleman Jim that I carry. If you don't mind, when you've had time to get to work with the knife could you post a review?

I really should not be opening this thread, as the wallet sometimes opens shortly thereafter!

Here is a report comrade Crocodile Dundee from Guns.ru (I myself hardly describe better) I apologize in advance for any translation difficulties.
Sincerely, Vemon.

..."Country likely China, but direct evidence supporting it and inscriptions I have not found. Collected qualitatively licked even better serial Emersons, dies noble green color is very pleasant to the touch, not aggressive classical incision, and with smoothed, the surface tissue of weaving, mangled that too unusual for emersion size to a size liners and stroke Blade unusually mild, with bugging out of his pocket opens without problems no need at all, combined washer, part bronze, PTFE part, clip moderately stiff, reinforced by two additional . cogs (that claim to them is, they seem, in principle, not even with the twist clip and therefore look like "cheap revision"), apparently on the EDC-1 had some problems with a clip or stiffness in the general Emerson solution found but the campaign did not bother much as it will look like, but a bonus skull on the clip, fans do not need to buy a separate clip. In general, EDC-2 as usual Emerson quite careless and brutal. 440C stainless steel oxidized (some write burnished), ie not painted or covered with epoxy-coated classic emerson. How will cover themselves in life and how much persistent - do not know. Tools kondovye not flimsy, backlock on screwdrivers elastic relish klatsayut at opening 90 and 180 degrees on the fingers emerge just should not be allowed under any circumstances. Laynerlock on the knife and awl look thin compared to conventional emerson, but they are not stainless and titanium, so I think there is quite a margin of safety, given that the wedge just 70mm, and for sewing, and even more so. Knife unlike classics. with double-sided sharpening, very careless, but shaves with a crunch. Shiloh is very sharp, aggressive, it is convenient to turn a hole in a thick skin and plastic. Screwdrivers quite universal. Phillips intermediate size between Phillips # 1 and # 2, i.e. suitable for most encountered in everyday life screws, slotted screwdriver, too, has an average thickness spout. The only thing that I personally did not like this wedge shape from Commander IMHO ... all in a subject, there would be a perfect wedge from A-100, albeit without Wavy curved wedge straight handle does not look "from the opera". Qualitative rigid packaging box color "copper" metallic, straight "gift" with a cut under the knife "Foam" inside. But instruction xerox on office paper - squalor." (с)

and a pair of his own pictures:
