The say she told them she indirectly became aware of Peters' father but she did not know him personally. She says she planned the break-in and drove the vehicle.

They say she told them she and the three suspects burglarized a spare apartment at Peters' home earlier in the day, then returned later to hit the main house. They say the three suspects, dressed in black, with masks on, kicked in a door. Peters shot at all three inside the home. One of the injured suspects ran outside and tried to get back in to Rodriguez's vehicle, but she told investigators she drove away and left him in the driveway.
