NOt sure how i feel about Warren as VP. On one hand, she might get some of the die-hard Bernie supporters to come to the polls and vote for Hillary. On the other hand, I don't think she will be a good campaigner. She comes across as very angry and unlikeable - kinda like Hillary. Also, f she wins, MA governor is a Republican and will appoint a replacement to her Senate seat - a nice pickup for the GOP in a tough election cycle. | |||

Admittedly not crazy about Trump but his last speech re: economics was 1st class. I'm certainly warming up to DT (& no, HRC is not even in the equation. Just a matter of liking the candidate). Hope he starts connecting to others as well. . | |||

Of course he's a RINO. Conservatives don't win in MA. Even if he picks a RINO to replace her, that has huge benefits. 1) It's a republican, which helps us keep the majority - super important if Hillary is president; 2) it's an improvement over Warren in the Senate and 3) even the RINOs have often voted with the party on important measures when it counts - the whips usually do a pretty good job keeping people on the reservation. | |||

Looking back at the beginning pages of this thread, it's quite something to see how far we've come in a year. Nearly everyone appreciated what Trump was doing, but no one seemed to give him a snowball's chance at getting the nomination let alone being President. Well, here we are. As inconceivable as it was to think of Trump coming this far a year ago, he's now our only hope between Hillary and the White House.
