An example of the reasons I wear my tinfoil hat when it comes to politics and say you are either in the ol' boys club or your aren't. Hillary is, Trump is not. _____________________ Be careful what you tolerate. You are teaching people how to treat you.

As Trump said last week, “We got here because we switched from a policy of Americanism – focusing on what’s good for America’s middle class – to a policy of globalism, focusing on how to make money for large corporations who can move their wealth and workers to foreign countries all to the detriment of the American worker and the American economy.”

Trump nailed it especially when it's exactly what economists say- the rise of global trade boosted incomes for the poorest and very richest workers in the world - everyone, really, except for the working class in the West This was a very interesting article. He's writing in support of globalism but the points he makes to me show why it's a bad idea. Personally it's not my governments purpose to improve the lives of poor chinese at my expense. A prosperous America should be first and foremost. A rising tide raises all boats.
But across the West, the economist Branko Milanovic argues, the rise of populism corresponds to a decline in the income share held by the broad middle classes of those countries. Milanovic has studied global inequality trends extensively and is the creator of a semi-famous chart showing how the rise of global trade boosted incomes for the poorest and very richest workers in the world - everyone, really, except for the working class in the West. Harvard University economist Dani Rodrick dubs those trade-offs the “inescapable trilemma of the world economy.” What that means is that we can have any two of these three things, but never all three: democracy, national sovereignty and global economic integration. In other words, you can’t have people voting their own interests, in a country that always places its own interests above the shared interests of the global community, while also stitching everyone’s economies together seamlessly. http://www.standard.net/Busine...n-for-world-commerce ____________________________________________________ The butcher with the sharpest knife has the warmest heart.

Trump needs to go on the offensive and quit letting her drive the news cycle. Ever since his very good speech every article I see is about her calling him out on something. You cannot win from the defense.

Paulsen was Chair of Goldman Sachs, was he not? That is the establishment, in finance at least. Party is pretty much irrelevant when it's a "them v. us" battle. Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me. When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

He has been on the offensive. The problem resides with a media that is outwardly biased to Klinton. Look at Brexit. Trump was the only one who was correct in his predictions on Brexit. Everyone in the media fell all over themselves about him going over there during a Presidential Campaign. Turns out, it was a smart move on his part. The result? The media ignored every bit of it. And made it about their interpretation about his comments on the lower exchange rate being good for tourism. Their interpretation, not what he actually said. Klinton squawked it, and the media parrotted it as far off as they could. The establishment is terrified at this point. This is not supposed to be going this way. They are supposed to have a lukewarm candidate like JEB! that will ensure it is business as usual no matter what. So, they are pulling out all stops. Spin, spin, spin. I can't believe that so many people just don't get this. Look at the polls. Most have Klinton ahead. Most of the polls, once examined, aren't even or level. Most are heavily loaded to 7-12 percent more democrats surveyed in each poll. It's all psyops.

My thoughts exactly! Do not pay attention to the polls folks. Many of people purposely don't respond to pollsters, give misleading information, or even do not bother to pick up the phone for them (me) for that matter. Even online polls can be skewed as well. Vote for Trump in November, get as many others to do the same, and the election will take care of itself. -Dtech __________________________ "I've got a life to live, people to love, and a God to serve!" - sigmonkey "Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value." - Albert Einstein "A man can never have too much red wine, too many books, or too much ammunition" ― Rudyard Kipling

Indeed. Just look at how they are all (except for FNC) ignoring the new book "Crisis of Character" that has come out by Secret Service Officer Gary J. Byrne. He can't get booked on any other network except Fox. BBQ Sauce for Everyone! |
Growing up I was taught voting was a private thing. I never remember once hearing my father talk politics with friends or neighbors. Why is it now that people like Paulson and others (who dont matter a lick) feel the need to tell us who they are voting for? Endorsments from celebrities, other politicians... why has this become important and a part of the process? "The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits." They think their vote is of more value than another free Americans. That and influence peddleing. Too many worship hollywood and thats as far as they go when learning about the candidates. We're stuck with the stupid and voting blocks who do it just to muck things up based on race.
