Are some of you guys brain dead? Newt can't run for dog catcher. Brilliant man but he cheated on his wife as she was laying in a hospital bed with cancer. Can't remember what wife it was. How many times was he married?

Sarah Palin slammed establishment Republicans Friday for their opposition to presumptive nominee Donald Trump — giving their movement a new name in a speech introducing the presumptive nominee at the Western Conservative Summit in Denver. "I just call them 'Republicans Against Trump' — or 'RAT' for short," the 2008 vice presidential nominee told about 2,000 cheering supporters at the Colorado Convention Center, KUSA-TV9 reports. 41 41

My wife has a fundraiser photo of Newt, her, Morning Joe hanging in our "office". That would be before Joe turned on him, I guess. She recalls Newt's remark was "Nice dress". What a jerk, the both of them.

Guilty as charged! In a years time, I've gone from a Trump eye-roller to an avid supporter. Its not just a HRC block for me, either. I would find it refreshing to have someone in the White House who has actually found success without sucking a government tit since college. The New York Times is actually shovelling this garbage. So absurd. So so utterly absurd. Talk about desperate. I guess most Sheriff departments are anti-Semitic too, eh Donald Trump Deletes Tweet Showing Hillary Clinton and Star of David Shape By ALAN RAPPEPORTJULY 2, 2016 Donald J. Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, came under fire on Saturday for posting on Twitter an image of the Star of David shape next to a picture of Hillary Clinton and calling his opponent the “most corrupt candidate ever!” The post that Donald J. Trump deleted from his Twitter account. While the six-pointed star is used in other contexts, including as a symbol of many Sheriff’s Departments, it has deep meaning in Judaism and the image was overlayed atop a pile of money. It appeared to play into the stereotype of Jews being obsessed with finances. After being derided on social media, Mr. Trump deleted the post and replaced it with one that had a circle instead of the star shape. While Mr. Trump has been working to professionalize his campaign, the Twitter post was the latest example of him making remarks many deem offensive. Several weeks ago, he insinuated that a federal judge presiding over a lawsuit against Trump University could not be impartial in the case because of his Mexican heritage. Mr. Trump apparently realized the problem with the original Twitter post because he rarely apologizes for his remarks or deletes his posts. His campaign did not respond to a request for comment on Saturday. Before the post came down, Josh Schwerin, a spokesman for Mrs. Clinton’s campaign, asked on his personal Twitter account, “Why is there a Star of David?” Other commenters were more blunt: Mr. Trump regularly touts his close ties to Jewish people, noting that his daughter Ivanka converted to Judaism when she married her husband, Jared Kushner. He also has promised to make the security of Israel a top priority if he is elected president. However, Mr. Trump has frustrated some Jews for initially declining to take a firm stand on the side of Israel when discussing the conflict with the Palestinians. And he angered some last year when he joked about Jews being good with money during a speech to the Republican Jewish Coalition. Mr. Trump has also been criticized for failing to denounce supporters who have harangued Jewish journalists on social media and at gatherings of white nationalists, and for being slow to disavow the support of David Duke, the former Klansman. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/07...r-of-david.html?_r=0 ~Alan Acta Non Verba NRA Life Member (Patron) God, Family, Guns, Country Men will fight and die to protect women... because women protect everything else. ~Andrew Klavan

wishing we were congress |
I posted this info in the thread on the 2016 Democrat platform, but it will get more visibility here. Democrat Party platform of 2008 : "We cannot continue to allow people to enter the United States undetected, undocumented, and unchecked. The American people are a welcoming and generous people, but those who enter our country’s borders illegally, and those who employ them, disrespect the rule of the law.” “We need to secure our borders, and support additional personnel, infrastructure, and technology on the border and at our ports of entry. We need additional Customs and Border Protection agents equipped with better technology and real-time intelligence.” “We support a system that requires undocumented immigrants who are in good standing to pay a fine, pay taxes, learn English, and go to the back of the line for the opportunity to become citizens.” http://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/ws/?pid=78283 maybe we should build a wall?

Those f#$*ing racists!!! Border security, background checks, green cards!!! Thank goodness they evolved and now realize that unchecked immigration and opening our country to the criminals/terrorists is morally the right thing to do. Maybe the Republican party will soon see the error in our ways and realize that illegal aliens are just preforming an act of love. Jesse Sic Semper Tyrannis

They have not evolved on immigration at all. They know that the majority of Americans side with Trump on the issue so they are paying lip service to get votes. Rest assured once in office they will open the floodgates. The sheep only matter while you are campaigning; once elected the sheep matter not. At least until the next election cycle.

Great minds think alike..... "If you’re a leader, you lead the way. Not just on the easy ones; you take the tough ones too…” – MAJ Richard D. Winters (1918-2011), E Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil... Therefore, as tongues of fire lick up straw and as dry grass sinks down in the flames, so their roots will decay and their flowers blow away like dust; for they have rejected the law of the Lord Almighty and spurned the word of the Holy One of Israel." - Isaiah 5:20,24

Bad dog! |
I didn't know anything about her, but this Wiki bio makes Joni Ernst, senator from Iowa, look like an excellent choice. Trump met with her yesterday. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joni_Ernst Drudge headline now cites her as possible choice. She would help with women (where Trump needs a lot of help) and the Republican conservative base as she is former military, having served in Kuwait, and is married to a retired Ranger. This message has been edited. ^^^^ So you're saying two old white guys would be a stronger ticket? Both McLame and his running mate were horrible choices. Not the fact he picked a female.

Cursed be he who moves my bones! |
Someone on the ticket with some actual qualifications would be good. Joni is lovely but is less qualified than even Palin was.
