'Locked hand-in-hand in front of a rapturous Ohio crowd, Hillary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren sealed a powerful alliance Monday that could help unify the Democratic Party and give Donald Trump nightmares. "
The idea of those two as POTUS and VP sure as hell gives me nightmares.

I don't think either candidate has officially picked his or her VP yet.

NOt sure how i feel about Warren as VP. On one hand, she might get some of the die-hard Bernie supporters to come to the polls and vote for Hillary. On the other hand, I don't think she will be a good campaigner. She comes across as very angry and unlikeable - kinda like Hillary. Also, f she wins, MA governor is a Republican and will appoint a replacement to her Senate seat - a nice pickup for the GOP in a tough election cycle.

I'm in MA. I can tell you that our Republican governor is a RINO. Already spouting that he will not vote for Trump. Not good on our gun rights either. He's way better than his predecessor Deval Patrick though.

Admittedly not crazy about Trump but his last speech re: economics was 1st class. I'm certainly warming up to DT (& no, HRC is not even in the equation. Just a matter of liking the candidate). Hope he starts connecting to others as well.

Of course he's a RINO. Conservatives don't win in MA. Even if he picks a RINO to replace her, that has huge benefits. 1) It's a republican, which helps us keep the majority - super important if Hillary is president; 2) it's an improvement over Warren in the Senate and 3) even the RINOs have often voted with the party on important measures when it counts - the whips usually do a pretty good job keeping people on the reservation.

After watching Trump's candidacy evolve and succeed as the GOP nominee, and the resulting reaction at every stage from all quarters, I conclude that there are many in the US and around the world who are just scared sh*tless of Trump being elected POTUS.

Looking back at the beginning pages of this thread, it's quite something to see how far we've come in a year. Nearly everyone appreciated what Trump was doing, but no one seemed to give him a snowball's chance at getting the nomination let alone being President.
Well, here we are. As inconceivable as it was to think of Trump coming this far a year ago, he's now our only hope between Hillary and the White House. Time to get 'er done.
