Of course. That’s much easier than actually reading the entire conversation to determine what can be edited out—or, horrors!—running the risk of actually learning what other people posted. ► 6.4/93.6 “Most men … can seldom accept the simplest and most obvious truth if it … would oblige them to admit the falsity of conclusions … which they have woven, thread by thread, into the fabrics of their lives.” — Leo Tolstoy

Bad dog! |
Right, let's fret about Trump. Because the alternative is only a habitual liar of a grifter who is under FBI investigation, OR a communist who might in fact be a Stalinist. http://www.investors.com/polit...nd-out-stalinistist/ But the real problem is: Is Trump a true conservative?? As Trump might say-- Gimme a fuckin break! ______________________________________________________ "You get much farther with a kind word and a gun than with a kind word alone."

Too old to run, too mean to quit! |
China already has a tariff on American goods! Did you see the video where Trump told about his friend that bought an American jet and when he tried to take it to China the tax charged would have been nearly the original cost of the plane. He sold it at a loss and bought a Chinese jet. Or, the issue about Caterpillar tractors? AIR, the issue was about taking, using Caterpillar equipment in Japan. The company ended up not buying Caterpillar, instead they bought Komatsu because of the unequal import duty issues. And it goes on, and on, and on. And, as far as wages go, let the market supply and demand determine wages and salaries! Of course that assumes a free market which, at this time we do not have. The government has introduced so many asinine regulations and allowed so many mergers and acquisitions that we do not have supply and demand determining prices. When the economy booms there is a big demand for workers. That demand will influence the wages, salaries needed to attract the workers. Big demand for workers will ensure that wages paid to those workers will be higher. AIR, not long ago some idiot from the fed.gov disclosed that they were going to issue MORE THAN 1500 NEW REGULATIONS THAT MONTH! The IRS code is more than 80K pages! Another example? Adding ethanol to gasoline! The corn industry lobbied for that shit and the corrupt politicraPs passed the rule/law. In truth, according to recent news on TV, all adding ethanol did was reduce the mileage per gallon and add CO2 to the atmosphere. Other than enriching the producers of ethanol of course. Why do we have more than 5 million federal employees? Because of asinine rules, regulations and a vigorous application of the PETER PRINCIPLE. Elk There has never been an occasion where a people gave up their weapons in the interest of peace that didn't end in their massacre. (Louis L'Amour) "To compel a man to furnish contributions of money for the propagation of opinions which he disbelieves and abhors, is sinful and tyrannical. http://www.cnn.com/2016/02/19/...Link&linkId=21425173 Trump calls for Apple boycott Pawley's Island, South Carolina (CNN)Donald Trump on Friday called for a boycott against Apple until the technology giant helps the FBI break into the iPhone of one of the San Bernardino shooters. "Boycott Apple until such time as they give that information," Trump told a crowded room of supporters during a town hall-style event here just one day before the South Carolina GOP primary. "Apple ought to give the security for that phone, OK. What I think you ought to do is boycott Apple until such a time as they give that security number. How do you like that? I just thought of it. Boycott Apple," Trump said. "The phone's not even owned by this young thug that killed all these people. The phone's owned by the government, OK, it's not even his phone," Trump said. "But (Apple CEO) Tim Cook is looking to do a big number, probably to show how liberal he is. But Apple should give up, they should get the security or find other people. While Trump was speaking, his Twitter account tweeted a Fox News poll from an iPhone. Later Friday, he tweeted, "I use both iPhone & Samsung. If Apple doesn't give info to authorities on the terrorists I'll only be using Samsung until they give info." Soon after, he tweeted, "Boycott all Apple products until such time as Apple gives cellphone info to authorities regarding radical Islamic terrorist couple from Cal." Trump's comments come days after Cook said in an open letter that his company was opposing a federal judge's order to provide the FBI with security software to break into one of the San Bernardino terrorist's iPhones. Cook argued in his open letter that complying with the judge's order would build "a backdoor to the iPhone," which Cook said he considers "too dangerous to create." Trump is no stranger to calling for boycotts of Fortune 500 companies. He also previously called for a boycott of Macy's after the retail giant pulled Trump's line of clothing from its stores due to Trump's heated rhetoric over undocumented Mexican immigrants. “Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence.” - John Adams

"Stupid" is believing that deregulation alone will make domestic manufacturing "more competitive" with foreign manufacturing. The Smoot-Hawley Tariff of 1930 was enacted during a 5 billion dollar trade surplus, in essence cutting our own throats. Now we have a 531.5 billion dollar trade deficit. Some people just don't have a clue.

You mean the pre forty crowd that is obsessed with chronicling every moment of their lives on Facebook, Twitter, 4Chan, Instagram, and any other new Social Media that will accept them as clients without charging fees? People who don't give a 2nd thought about sharing intimate life secrets with strangers they'd avoid on the street? I don't know...

Yeah, that crowd. He'll need all the votes he can get as things tighten up.

Lighten up and laugh |
The funny part is Trump's tweets after he called for the boycott were from an iphone

You caught that too, eh?! It was my wife's first comment! Edit: either way, I'm glad he's in it. He keeps it interesting and makes the candidates address issues others would like to leave alone. I think it's good to see things shaken up.

IIRC, a candidate that wins both New Hampshire and South Carolina is, historically, the nominee. Or perhaps it is NH and Nevada. Or Nevada and SC. Fwiw, London bookies now have Trump winning the nomination. *************************** Knowing more by accident than on purpose.
