The Vatican has indeed taken in several families of Syrian refugees and, as well, has instructed parishes throughout Europe (and the world for that matter) to do the same...much to my dismay. No hypocrisy whatsoever from Francis or the Church on this matter. The market is driving the solution as we speak; corporations are moving operations overseas to stay viable. It will take more then reducing the corporate tax rate to promote industry. The disparity in currency, reduction in the costs of labor, raw materials, and environmental compliance far out way the taxation.
