Not that it affects anything today, but for historical perspective President Wilson did contract the Spanish Flu during the pandemic of 1918. We are hoping the President and First Lady fare well and that he enjoys a landslide victory.

Your mission, which I hope you accept, is to go to the polls on November 3. None of this mail-in stuff. Vote in person, every one of you, and make it a straight Republican ticket from Trump down to the local dog catcher.

If you take nothing away from the debate, take this ^ and understand that Trump was sending a message to the voters. DO NOT MAIL IN A BALLOT, go directly to the precinct and vote.

Wallace tried to get him to commit to mail in vote safety, Trump answered to the voters, not Wallace, and it wasn't what the left wanted.

Trump telling us that the most important thing we can do is to vote in person.

We show up in the numbers we need to win overwhelming the uncounted mail ballots and it kills this leftist vote grab.

Even if you are a D vote in person, why? Eliminate the mail in BS.. The more in person votes the less the mail in game works.
Unfortunately, the problem with mail-in ballots may still be that they are out there, and that SOMEONE could vote them and they'd be counted, even if the proper recipient had voted in person. I'm with President Trump--unsolicited mail-in ballots are ripe for fraud.

President Trump Has COVID-19

https://www.zerohedge.com/poli...re-what-happens-next

President Trump has just become the latest in a growing list of world leaders to havae contracted SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. Trump broke the news that he and First Lady Melania Trump had tested positive via Twitter early Friday morning hours after Bloomberg reported that Hope Hicks, one of the president's closest aides, had tested positive, and was symptomatic.

So I did.

What exactly is your point? Why are you quoting me? Is this a shameful attempt at Covid shaming?

The President will be fine as well as the First Lady, but watch Pelosi, Schiff, and the gang of nitwits will start with 25th amendment stuff and more nonsense to go after him. Never let a crisis go to waste. Not that this is a crisis but the Democrats will exploit it for Sleepy Joe.

I was hoping never to hear DJT or the First Lady had shown positive; but this may very well be another opportunity for the President to show the world what he's made of.

Given that the POTUS is the most protected person in the planet, I wonder how a covid positive person got that close for that long.

Here's hoping for quick and complete recovery of President and Mrs. Trump.

RE: Pelosi and her gang going 25th amendment....not going to happen. VEEPOTUS is next in line, unless there is a vacancy there, which thankfully, there isn't.

Since it is the ticket that we vote for, maybe Pence gets double the debate exposure? Anyway, may make sense to make the offer, if only to see if Biden is scared of debating him, too.

By the time someone tests positive, they already had it for some time. Putting them in quarantine after a positive test just keeps additional people from getting it from them. It does nothing for any spread that occurred before the positive test.

My wife runs wuflu testing in an adjacent county. There is serious discussion among the team members / health department concerning certain batches of test kits producing much higher positives than others. Evan that one batch may have been contaminated with wuflu to the extent that every test showed positive. Get POTUS retested using kits from a different batch, even a diff manufacturer.

This is from the “10-Point” news summary this morning from The Wall Street Journal:

“The president tweeted the news hours after confirmation that top adviser Hope Hicks, who traveled with him earlier this week, had tested positive.”

The people like advisers and the countless others that the President interacts with on a continuous basis don’t live in bubbles surrounded by protective agents who can prevent their exposure to other people’s diseases. A “top adviser” will have long and frequent contacts with him.

Unless he and the First Lady had taken stringent individual precautions to avoid being infected by all those people they interact with, their catching the disease was probably inevitable, just as it was for many other public figures.

On top of that, what drives me absolutely insane, is people thinking they will never get it. It's a global virus, we will ALL get it eventually. It's just how long you can delay the inevitable.
