The first sentence in Trump's official announcement of Patel is "I am proud to announce that Kashyap "Kash" Patel will serve as the next Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation". Ironically, Patel is the first Director of color considered for the gig, so throw that into the faces of Democrats. And also Trump will appoint a new Deputy Director, with no Senate confirmation required, to run the FBI during the confirmation process of Patel, hopefully Wray if fired by then. I am not well versed in sports trivia but I see what you are saying and I am pumped! I check this thread at least once a day and have been rewarded every time with news that just keeps getting better. It's like basking in the sunshine on a nice day in the middle of a brutal winter. The man was persecuted and backstabbed for 4 years during, and another 4 years after his presidency. He survived an assassins bullet and got up in defiance- "Fight! Fight! Fight!" I think back to that infamous mugshot, I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that stare. He's MUCH smarter now than he was 8 years ago and he is focused.
