Staring back from the abyss |
I wish I'd have bought stock in shredding machines. You can bet that there's a whole lot of mulch being made for the next two months. I also wish that Trump would have waited to drop some of these names until January 19th. ________________________________________________________ "Great danger lies in the notion that we can reason with evil." Tiffany Trump's father-in-law, who is credited with helping Trump flip many Arab Americans and Muslims in Michigan, named as senior adviser on Arab and Middle Eastern affairs By Danielle Wallace | Fox News Published December 1, 2024 1:23pm EST | Updated December 1, 2024 2:03pm EST President-elect Trump tapped his daughter Tiffany Trump's father-in-law, Lebanese-American businessman Dr. Massad Boulos, to join his Cabinet as senior adviser on Arab and Middle Eastern affairs. "I am proud to announce that Massad Boulos will serve as Senior Advisor to the President on Arab and Middle Eastern affairs," the president-elect wrote on TRUTHSocial. "Massad is an accomplished lawyer and a highly respected leader in the business world, with extensive experience on the International scene. He has been a longtime proponent of Republican and Conservative values, an asset to my Campaign, and was instrumental in building tremendous new coalitions with the Arab American Community. Massad is a dealmaker, and an unwavering supporter of PEACE in the Middle East. He will be a strong advocate for the United States, and its interests, and I am pleased to have him on our team!" Boulos led efforts to engage the Arab American community, organizing dozens of meetings across Michigan and other areas with large Arab populations. Former President Trump listens to Albert Abbas, owner of The Great Commoner, left, as Massad Boulos looks on during a visit to the cafe, Nov. 1, 2024, in Dearborn, Michigan. (AP Photo/Julia Demaree Nikhinson, File) Some sessions also featured Richard Grenell, former acting director of national intelligence, who was well-regarded by those who met with him. Trump campaign officials and supporters told Reuters that Boulos helped flip some of the 300,000 Arab Americans and Muslims in Michigan who largely backed Biden in 2020 but later grew frustrated with Biden's policies in Israel, Gaza and Lebanon. Boulos' son, Michael, and Tiffany Trump were married in November 2022 at Mar-a-Lago. Trump revealed during a speech to the Detroit Economic Club in October that Tiffany is pregnant. Boulos is a billionaire with extensive business connections to Nigeria. He was born in Lebanon but moved to Texas as a teenager. He attended the University of Houston and later became a U.S. citizen. According to Reuters, Boulos' father and grandfather were involved in Lebanese politics, and his father-in-law backed the Free Patriotic Movement, a Christian party affiliated with Hezbollah. Three sources told Reuters that Boulos' appeal centers on his ability to engage with different factions within Lebanese politics, as he's even maintained relations with Hezbollah, an Iranian-backed Shi'ite Muslim party and terrorist group that largely controls the parliament. Boulos is friends with Suleiman Frangieh, a Christian politician backed by Hezbollah for the presidency, and has been in communication with the Lebanese Forces Party, a Christian faction that staunchly opposes Hezbollah. I am not well versed in sports trivia but I see what you are saying and I am pumped! I check this thread at least once a day and have been rewarded every time with news that just keeps getting better. It's like basking in the sunshine on a nice day in the middle of a brutal winter. The man was persecuted and backstabbed for 4 years during, and another 4 years after his presidency. He survived an assassins bullet and got up in defiance- "Fight! Fight! Fight!" I think back to that infamous mugshot, I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of that stare. He's MUCH smarter now than he was 8 years ago and he is focused. I am amazed by his stamina and energy. I feel like I need to stock up on popcorn. China is Asshoe

A lot of good info at Breitbart site. Trump’s Selection of Kash Patel to Lead FBI Electrifies America First Movement https://www.breitbart.com/poli...rica-first-movement/ https://x.com/EricLDaugh/status/1863021838097609062 : Below is a lengthy list of Kash Patel's qualifications to be FBI Director. GOP senators should take notice before trying to obstruct the nomination. - An attorney who graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from Pace University School of Law. He has also received a certificate in international law from University College London and a degree in criminal justice and history from the University of Richmond. - He served as a National Security Council official, specifically as the Senior Director for Counterterrorism in 2019. This role involved managing counterterrorism initiatives, including significant operations like the elimination of ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. - Patel was also a senior advisor to the acting Director of National Intelligence, which positioned him at the forefront of the U.S. intelligence community's operations. - He worked as an aide to Representative Devin Nunes on the House Intelligence Committee, where he was instrumental in investigations related to Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election and co-authored the "Nunes Memo" concerning FBI surveillance practices. - Patel served as the chief of staff to acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller in the final months of the first Trump administration, overseeing 3 million+ employees and managing $2 trillion in assets. -Before entering politics, Patel worked as a federal prosecutor in the Department of Justice, dealing with national security cases. _________________________ "Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it." So, let me get this straight. Evil, racist Donald J Trump dated a black woman, has helped many black people start businesses, and did more for HBCU's then ANY President or political leader in the history of this country.Plus let's not forget he's misogynistic. He has Jewish inlaws, AND Arab? And they are in key positions. He has a Vice President that is married to an Indian. has just appointed another Indian to the top post of the FBI. With a woman as Attorney General. A gay guy( not important to me, but the left loves that sort of stuff, not whether they are qualified), and a couple of Hispanic decent. All highly qualified for their positions ( unlike the freak show cast of misfits the Potato picked ). I just want to ask. What am I missing? Since Donald J Trump was reelected, I have has more hope for this country than I have had in many years. I hope, and yes pray that Mr. President Trump, and his Excellent staff will be able to root out the scum Swamp Creatures, drain the Swamp. Lock up traitors, and give back the power to the true and rightful, These Peoples of The United States of America. ARman

Two can play this game, you know? Trump suggests he will free Jan 6 rioters in response to Biden’s Hunter pardon: 'Let them all out' By GEOFF EARLE, DEPUTY U.S. POLITICAL EDITOR PUBLISHED: 22:07 EST, 1 December 2024 | UPDATED: 03:29 EST, 2 December 2024 Donald Trump signaled Sunday night that he intends to use Joe Biden's pardon of his son Hunter to his own advantage, linking it to his own prospective controversial pardon of January 6 defendants. 'Does the Pardon given by Joe to Hunter include the J-6 Hostages, who have now been imprisoned for years? Such an abuse and miscarriage of Justice!' Trump wrote, in his first public comment since Biden announced the pardon Sunday. That came not long after Fox News commentator Charlie Hurt made the linkage. 'I think he should at least commute the sentences of all of them and pardoned every single one that was obviously just following the person in front of them wandering through the capital,' he said. 'Pardon every single one of them. There were some that did more than just that. And I think he should commute their sentences and let them all out! Every single one of them,' he said. According to the Justice Department, 140 police officers were assulated during the attack on the Capitol, including 80 U.S. Capitol Police officers and 60 from DC's Metropolitan Police Department. Trump repeatedly floated the idea of the pardons himself during his campaign. His new choice to lead the FBI, Kash Patel, has also taken up the cause of January 6 defendants. He also played 'Justice for All,' a rendition of the national anthem as sung by January 6 defendants, at campaign rallies. More than 1,200 people have been charged on January 6-related charges. Many battled with police officers. Others got charged with interfering with an official proceeding on a day Congress met to certify the electoral votes that made Joe Biden president. 'I am inclined to pardon many of them. I can't say for every single one because a couple of them, probably, they got out of control,' Trump said during a May 2023 CNN town hall. 'I would say it will be a large portion of them and it would be early on' in his term. Trump has avoided specifics on which defendants he might pardon. Some were convicted of using explosives or using blunt force objects to batter police officers. Trump did not directly criticize the president for the move, but his incoming communications director used it to punch back at what Trump calls the many 'witch hunts' against him. In yet another stunnign move last week, special counsel Jack Smith asked a federal judge hearing the January 6 election overturn case against Trump to dismiss the case now that Trump has been elected, citing his immunity under DOJ guidelines. 'Dismissal without prejudice is appropriate here,' Chutkan Tanya Chutkan wrote in her decision. 'Dismissal without prejudice is also consistent with the Government’s understanding that the immunity afforded to a sitting President is temporary, expiring when they leave office,' she added. Biden made the shock announcement Sunday night that he would issue a presidential pardon for his troubled son, calling his prosecution 'selective' and 'unfair.' In a statement, a spokesperson for Trump slammed what they called the Democrat-controlled justice system but didn't appear to disagree with the decision. 'The failed witch hunts against President Trump have proven that the Democrat-controlled DOJ and other radical prosecutors are guilty of weaponizing the justice system,' Trump spokesman Steven Cheung told DailyMail.com. 'That system of justice must be fixed and due process must be restored for all Americans, which is exactly what President Trump will do as he returns to the White House with an overwhelming mandate from the American people.' However, on Truth Social, he was a little angrier, wondering if the same courtesy would be given to those charged for their acts at the Capitol on January 6. He wrote: 'Does the Pardon given by Joe to Hunter include the J-6 Hostages, who have now been imprisoned for years? Such an abuse and miscarriage of Justice!' The president-elect's attitude toward Hunter has been somewhat softer than many expect, given how hard Trump has hit Biden on his son's foibles over the years. In October, Trump, who issued a slew of pardons during his four years in office and on his way out the door in January 2021, weighed in on the Hunter Biden pardon issue, with a response that surprised many. Asked by radio host Hugh Hewitt last month if he would consider pardoning Hunter Biden, Trump said, 'I wouldn’t take it off the books. 'See, unlike Joe Biden, despite what they’ve done to me, where they’ve gone after me so viciously, despite what - and Hunter’s a bad boy, there’s no question about it, he’s been a bad boy. 'But I happen to think it's very bad for our country,' Trump said of what he considers politically motivated prosecutions and punishment which he likens to his own experience. Q

I was sorely tested yesterday when news broke of President Trump’s nomination to head the Drug Enforcement Agency: Florida Sheriff Chad Chronister. During the pandemic, Sheriff Chronister arrested Tampa Pastor Dr. Ronald Howard-Browne, who defied Florida’s short lockdown order and held several religious services anyway. Sheriff Chronister also enforced a local covid curfew, and ordered punitive policies aimed at coercing unvaccinated deputies under his command to get the shots. https://x.com/thevivafrei/status/1863320481488568578 CLIP: Sheriff Chronister explains his vaccination policy (0:32). On the other hand, he may not have enforced all laws as enthusiastically as the covid laws. In at least one local news story, reporters indirectly quoted Sheriff Chronister as promising to focus on “public safety” rather than federal immigration laws. He didn’t come right out and say he wouldn’t help deport illegals, apparently, which was smart because that kind of thing, promising not to enforce the law, can get you removed from office in Florida. Though vowing to focus on public safety, Chronister did release 165 ‘low level, non-violent’ prisoners during covid. As to his politics, Chronister apparently donated $15K to Obama’s campaign, but more recently endorsed Governor DeSantis during the Republican primary, so he’s likely now a Republican. Still, Chronister is not well-liked by local conservatives who call him a woke Democrat plant. This Twitter thread helpfully rounds up a long list of anti-Chronister information. I get it; Sheriff Chronister only enforced the laws at the time. We celebrated as heroes those Sheriffs who (rightly, in my view) refused to enforce what they concluded were unconstitutional laws. There may be more to the story; this Twitter poster claims Sheriff Chronister went back to the church and publicly apologized. Apology or no, Sheriff Chronister was no covid hero. But more than that, Chronister’s covid policies alone raise serious questions whether he is ideologically aligned with the incoming Trump Administration. https://www.coffeeandcovid.com...nday-december-2-2024 "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown "The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth." -rduckwor
