Jay Bhattacharya to Lead NIH is a Game Changer.

https://thenationalpulse.com/2...h-is-a-game-changer/

President-elect Donald J. Trump has named Jay Bhattacharya as the new director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for his upcoming term. Bhattacharya, a professor at Stanford University known for his criticism of pandemic lockdowns, will lead federal medical research initiatives. He is set to collaborate with Trump’s nominee for Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.Bhattacharya is a co-author of the Great Barrington Declaration, which encouraged re-evaluating stringent COVID-19 measures. This stance led to him being placed on a “Trends Blacklist” by Twitter, as revealed in the 2022 “Twitter Files.”

The President-elect expressed confidence in the new appointments, stating an aim of elevating the NIH‘s medical research standards. Subsequently, Bhattacharya—who obtained his medical degree and economics doctorate from Stanford—expressed gratitude for the nomination. Additionally, he promised reforms to restore public trust in American scientific bodies, saying he hopes to leverage scientific advancements for national health improvements.Bhattacharya’s appointment requires Senate confirmation. Consequently, this will be taken up by a Republican majority in the chamber in January after President-elect Trump takes the Oath of Office. The NIH, consisting of 27 institutes and centers, employs around 20,000 staff and handles tasks like overseeing the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and the National Cancer Institute. These centers focus on specific diseases and research areas. The NIH is responsible for distributing nearly $31 billion annually in research grants for conditions affecting public health. The organization has faced scrutiny from several Republican lawmakers over funding to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, linked to gain-of-function research prior to the COVID-19 outbreak. Former NIH leaders, including Dr. Anthony Fauci and Dr. Francis Collins, have denied knowledge of any U.S.-funded modifications on viruses at that facility despite evidence to the contrary.

She will make no Trump 2021-4 comeback, no election victory in 2028, as either president or California governor. Her moneybags donors are exasperated that she and her PACs blew $1.5 billion of their money in little more than a 100-day campaign—while paying for private jets, concerts, and the likes of Al Sharpton, Beyonce, Oprah, etc. to endorse/interview her.

Yes, she is poison to the Dems right now, reeling from the fact they got their asses handed to them on the now tired Obama/Pelosi model. She will join Dukakis, Mondale, Hillary of never reaching another political office. She can run for the governorship in CA in 2026, but she will get trounced by other Dems hungry for higher office, they'll slaughter her.

She is so fucking dumb, I doubt she could score a seat on the board of a large Fortune 500 company.

JUST IN: Ray Epps Lawsuit Against Fox News Thrown Out By Judge

https://www.msn.com/en-us/tv/n...by-judge/ar-AA1uRQdf

A federal judge in Delaware tossed Ray Epps’s lawsuit against Fox News, saying the Jan. 6 protester did provide enough to back “actual malice.”

Epps was sentenced to one year probation, $500 restitution, and 100 hours of community service for his role in Jan. 6. Epps became the center of a number of conspiracy theories pushed by former Fox News host Tucker Carlson and others who used video of Epps from Jan. 6 encouraging other protesters to suggest he was an FBI plant helping orchestrate the Capitol riot.

Epps’s lawsuit was tossed by Judge Jennifer L. Hall.

Fox News said they were “pleased” with the dismissal and mentioned other recent dismissals for lawsuits from former Hunter Biden associate Tony Bobulinski and former “disinformation czar” Nina Jankowicz.

“Following the dismissals of the Jankowicz, Bobulinski, and now Epps cases, FOX News is pleased with these back-to-back decisions from federal courts preserving the press freedoms of the First Amendment,” Fox News Media said, in a statement to Mediaite.

Epps filed his lawsuit against Fox News last year, claiming the network had pushed conspiracy theories with him at the center. His lawyers claimed the network made him a “scapegoat” for Jan. 6 and promoted “the lie that Epps was a federal agent who incited the attack on the Capitol.” Epps’ legal team claimed he faced death threats, including shell casings being left on his property.

Fox argued that hosts were perfectly within their rights to question Epps receiving no jail time while others involved in Jan. 6 were hit with much harsher sentences.

“Even if Fox hosts implied a factual conclusion about Plaintiff, it reflected only their interpretations based on disclosed facts,” Fox previously argued.

Epps pleaded guilty last year to one misdemeanor count of disorderly or disruptive conduct on restricted grounds.

How Trump Could Be Shaking Up the Traditional WH Press Briefings

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/...-press-room-n2648335

New Trump Administration, new era!

President-elect Donald Trump is expected to shake up traditions in the White House briefing room that would give independent journalists access to daily press briefings instead of fake news media outlets.

Since the 2016 presidential election, mainstream media outlets, including CNN, MSNBC, NBC News, and the New York Times, have spent their time and energy attacking Trump, his family, and his policies. So, why do they think they deserve the head chair at the table?

They don’t, according to the incoming president.

Instead, popular podcasters like Joe Rogan and Megyn Kelly may be given press passes and invited to the White House press conferences in the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room.

Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., hinted at the possibility for social media influencers and independent reporters to join the daily briefings hosted by Trump’s new press secretary, Karoline Leavitt.

“If The New York Times has lied, they’ve been averse to everything, they’re functioning as the marketing arm to the Democrat party,” Trump Jr. said. “Why not open it up to people who have larger viewerships, stronger followings.”

However, the president does not control the 49 reporters who gain access to the briefings— the White House Correspondents’ Association does. But the White House determines press credentials.

During Trump’s first term, he tried to ban certain outlets from off-camera press briefings, including the New York Times, Politico, CNN, and BBC. Most recently, his campaign barred Politico, Axios, and Puck News from its election watch event in Mar-a-Lago last week.

Fox News’ Will Cain argued that Americans want to hear from people like Rogan or Youtuber Theo Von rather than from traditional media outlets.

“That whole group, the one that has the 49 seats now, they have lost everything, every bit of trust through Russiagate to Donald Trump to COVID and every other story,” he said. “What credibility do you have that you think entitles you to that seat? And I think most of us at this point don’t care. I don’t care what ABC or CBS or NBC or CNN have to say, but I would be interested to hear what a question from Joe Rogan would be.”

BREAKING NEWS Mexican President vows to stop migration through Mexico into the U.S. 'effective immediately,' Trump says

By JON MICHAEL RAASCH, U.S. POLITICAL REPORTER FOR DAILYMAIL.COM
PUBLISHED: 19:55 EST, 27 November 2024 | UPDATED: 20:33 EST, 27 November 2024

President-elect Donald Trump announced a major breakthrough on border talks, claiming Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has vowed to stop illegal migration into the U.S. 'effective immediately.'

The huge shift in policy would help the U.S. stem the flow of historic levels of illegal immigration through the border the two countries share - the number one political issue Trump vowed to address on the campaign trail.

'Mexico will stop people from going to our Southern Border, effective immediately,' the president-elect posted on Truth Social. 'This will go a long way toward stopping the illegal invasion of the USA. Thank you!'

In another post, Trump writes more about the agreements the two made.

'Just had a wonderful conversation with the new President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo,' the Republican posted.

'She has agreed to stop Migration through Mexico, and into the United States, effectively closing our Southern Border.'

'We also talked about what can be done to stop the massive drug inflow into the United States, and also, U.S. consumption of these drugs. It was a very productive conversation!'

Sheinbaum confirmed that she would be immediately addressing migration, including a caravan of migrants that was headed for the U.S.

'I had an excellent conversation with President Donald Trump,' she posted on X.

'We addressed Mexico's strategy regarding the migration phenomenon, and I shared that caravans are no longer reaching the northern border as they are being addressed within Mexico.'

Should the Mexican president do as Trump say and shut the border down, the massive yearly inflows of migrants from Mexico, which come from countries across the globe to cross there, should decrease dramatically.

Since FY 2021 there have been nearly 11 million migrants encounters, meaning those who crossed illegally, according to federal data.

In a separate post, Trump also announced a new endeavor aimed at cracking down on the 100,000+ fentanyl overdose deaths that have occurred in the U.S. in the past four years.

'I will be working on a large scale United States Advertising Campaign, explaining how bad Fentanyl is for people to use - Millions of lives being so needlessly destroyed,' another post said.

'By the time the Campaign is over, everyone will know how really bad the horror of this Drug is.'

Sheinbaum's agreement with Trump comes just days after the president-elect took to social media to threaten her country with a 25 percent tariff should immigration issues not be addressed.

The Mexican president addressed the threats on Tuesday while speaking in Mexico City.

On Wednesday evening she called the conversation between her and the Republican 'wonderful' and 'productive.'

Regarding Jay Bhattacharya nominated as director of NIH: we are seeing poetic justice as seldom seen outside of literature.

The man who--along with eminent epidemiologists Martin Kulldorf of Harvard and Sinatra Gupta of Oxford--was calumnied by Francis Collins, then director of NIH, and Anthony Fauci.

Bhattacharya has first had his reputation restored at Stanford under its new president; and now this bolt of cosmic justice from the blue by President-Elect Trump.

He is a modest professional who opposed the anti-scientific COVID lockdown policies that began under Trump and worsened under Biden, and never faltered despite the slanders of the "experts" who were in the process of destroying the American economy, millions of small businesses, and the mental health of millions.

When he takes the helm at NIH it will be a scene out of a Tolkienesque epic, with Wormtongues Collins and Fauci--alas, only virtually--thrown into exile.

The changes at CDC/NIH are encouraging to me. But I want to see a full on forensic audit of both agencies and a full criminal investigation of Fauci.

Agree!

And double that when President Trump’s FBI appointee takes the helm. The rats will be jumping out of the windows. I can scarcely wait!

Interesting that, with every important position having been named, no one seems to know who the next FBI director is going to be.

I think most of us are hoping it will be Kash Patel, because we've been warned against him--by the FBI.

I know I am! He could bring some common sense and accountability to the FBI administration. I bet he wouldn't be flying over to sit on Klaus'e knee at every WEF meeting like Wray.
