Already have these Glock baseplates at Milspin.

Yes, that one. That's a partial of the image taken by an AP photographer. It's not quite the same as the flag raising on Mt. Suribachi by the Marines, but for our generation and time will be a rallying call.

Apologies for drifting the thread away from discussion on Saturday's events, but this thread seemed like the right place for the question (rather than starting a fresh one): What happens in Virginia if Trump picks Youngkin as running mate?

Does the Lieutenant Governor step in as Governor at that point? Special election? I admit, I know zip about this process... and that's why I come here to ask the question.

I don't have an answer to that question but just wanted to say that I think Youngkin will be his pick.

Winsome Sears:

Trump certainly is aware of Youngkin’s strengths. At his first rally after debating Biden last month in Chesapeake, Va., Trump lavished praise on Youngkin, with Virginia Public Radio’s headline reporting that “Trump Gushes About Youngkin.”

“I’m honored to be here with your governor,” Trump told the crowd. “He’s got common sense, he’s got great policy. He’s got the policy that made America great.”

As an added bonus, should a Trump-Youngkin ticket win in November, the governorship of Virginia would pass to Lt. Governor Winsome Sears, a 60-year-old African-American superstar in the Republican Party. She would then be able to seek election to the governorship in her own right in November 2025 as an incumbent.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Although, signs seem to be pointing elsewhere...

I’m thinking Ol’ Civil Rights Joe has managed to make it so we have no black people left, since I’m thinking they ain’t voting for him this time.

Trump declared “officially black.”

Nothing will come to pass. If it were a leftist politician, then sure, maybe.. But, Trump, in the leftists' minds, is Hitler. You think these commies care? Remember when Steve Scalise almost got killed? What happened? Nothing.

Can we wait the whole three or four or six hours to find out who Donald Trump picked?

I've already asked this, in this thread, in the past couple of days.

Can you guys have mercy? Do you know that on Twitter, people have been making their blind-ass guesses for months, EVERY. DAY.

It is not possible for me to describe how tired I am of this crap.

Here's what we'll do- the first member to post Trump's actual choice in this thread, gets a puppy.

OK, a picture of a puppy.

To be clear, I'll post a picture of a puppy for you, and you can save it or whatever.

Sound good?

I have heard no one mention the water tower that had a perfect view of that building and so much more. You think they would have had at least someone up there with a radio and some binoculars.

Was expecting some new revelation, but the actual video showed nothing that we haven't already seen. Just more talking heads yapping the rest of the way.

Here is another thing that people may not be aware of when you see the MSM/Left jubilantly crowing that the shooter was a register Republican.

Here in PA we DO NOT have open primaries so if you are a Democrat but wanted to vote for Nikki Haley to hurt Trump, the only way you're doing that is after you change your voter registration to Republican. My guess is that this dead shithead did just that.

The source is what’s interesting.

ABC has parroted the leftist bullshit about President Trump, now seems to suddenly realize it.

If I might add, I know one person not in contention.

Me.

Unless I am about to have the surprise of a lifetime.

I may be alone in this but I'd like to know more about his parents. I believe he was living with one parent or both parents? Information about them seems limited and may possibly shed some light on this shooter.

Will their statements be something like 'we never saw this coming but I did buy an AR15 that suddenly disappeared the day of the shooting. Oh by the way, he was always misunderstood and bullied in High School', bla bla

By the way, notice that no one is talking about Biden and the possibility of him dropping out. Of course, once the talk about the assassination attempt begins to die down, the subject will come back strong into the news cycle, but this delay of a week or more puts us closer to the Dem convention and closer to the election, and the closer we get without Biden withdrawing, the better his chances of staying in the race.

I think also that since last Saturday evening, many of the Dem leaders have resigned themselves to a Trump victory.
