I got tired of being hot in South Texas and moved to rural Washington 15 years ago. Medical problems developed. Being medically naive, I went to the wrong places telling the truth of my symptoms using private pay since I did not have health insurance figuring that I would not need insurance. I was not believed by the Socialists in Washington state and was just repeatedly sent medical bills for the same defensive medical tests, which may not have ever been reviewed by my churned PCPs! My suspicions have not been legally discovered yet, but something obviously went wrong there.

Texas doctors cannot understand what I both know with documentation, and additionally suspect happened to me in Washington. There are now two parties here who are interested in being helpful to me. There will now be a third interested party, but none of these people will want to know all of the details.

I still need "outside" help of some sort.

^^ That is a lucid, intelligent, well-thought out, post... over ruled! <My cousin Vinnie>

Sounds like you're already doing better.

Good luck and may your troubles be resolved quickly.

So is the situation that you feel neglected by the medical community in your area for failing to have your gallbladder removed? Have you had active cholecystitis or just gallstones? Gallstones alone are not an indication for removal.

My take away from this thread is that there are people in Sigforum who will make themselves available on a call for help.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

It's true. I've been a grateful recipient of "Sigforum tech support by phone." This is a fascinating place, filled with good people.

Glad things are shaping up for you, rh.

Washington State- A chinese coworker was going to the doctor. I told her euthanasia was a new benefit for $5 copay and to ask her doctor for it.

An indian coworker overheard and countered the copay was $25. So the chinese woman and the indian guy argued whether the copay for euthanasia was $5 or $25.

I offered to pay for her.

A lead came over and asked what they were doing- We both just watched and laughed.

23 hours into this new year, we may have SIGforum's 2018 Bizzare Thread Of The Year winner.

From what's been revealed so far in 7 pages, I don't understand the OP's need to communicate in such a hazy manner. If he communicates with his doctors in the same incoherent manner he has in this thread...no wonder they don't know what in the hell to do for him.

It's appears that he's made some progress in receiving medical treatment and that's a good thing.

Glad progress was made but can he at least change the title of the thread to something a little more appropriate.

By the way, I love lamp.

That made me laugh too, but I'm not laughing now because the Reglan and Zofran are not very effective.

See the problem with being taken to a hospital, is that they order yet another CT scan, and then release me unless they find internal infection.

I have an idea. Somewhere in this is a the business card of a more local surgeon with a phone number which is answered 24 hours a day.

"Disoriented, confused, nauseous, no appetite" I reported in a phone call that I made in 2005. The NP's conclusion was that I was having an allergic reaction and should take Benadryl. I've got the original medical records.
