United Airlines now says sure you can have a religious exemption to the vaccine...Oh yeah, forgot to tell you - if you get a religious exemption you are being put on 'unpaid leave'. We call that getting fired where I come from.

United Airlines staff who are granted religious exemptions to vaccine mandate will be put on unpaid leave

Something often forgotten from American History 101, government only has the ability to govern through the consent of the governed. It's high time "We the people..." exercise our rights and revoke at least some of our consent.

A large percentage of the people not only consent, but are actually freaking ASKING FOR these crazy policies (especially with respect to vaccines).

Some people have said that the virus was released to reduce the population. Some have said that the vaccine was created to reduce the population. I say it's going to be the eventual blowback that reduces the population.

These people win when they require you to take their shot for your employment or to use their services and then you give in and take it. People need to walk out. Just walk away. It will work out in the end.

True, but I believe when push comes to shove, that group does not represent a majority of this country.

Regarding the fear angle, a old neighbor of mine (I think he's 91 and an Army veteran) suggested that across history when empires were conquered the conquerors killed, impaled, disemboweled, or imprisoned the senators (i.e. politicians) of the conquered country. He further suggested that the majority of this country that still loves and believes in it should take back Washington and capitols around the country and subject all the related politicians to that fate for what they've done. I simply listened and nodded as he spoke. There was a time where I would have viewed that as extreme and completely unacceptable, but I'm beginning to move in his direction.

Truth.

Parents in Utah were actually protesting the State government to MANDATE children wear masks in K-8 school. Frown I simply don't have the ability to understand these people.

The lies surround this just keep on and on. If you want proof, google Dr. Esther Choo. She based out of Oregon and spouts off regularly about all kinds of horror stories about COVID. Including how many heath care workers are forced to re-use PPEs and that there are hospitals putting two patients in one ICU bed. Her main mouthpiece appears to be Yahoo.
These lies perpetuate this "crisis".

Why? These folks aren't rocket scientists, are busy with work and making a living, and have been absolutely bombarded day in and day out 24/7 with a steady stream of lies and propaganda coming from all angles. Then if they do attempt to find the truth, the tech giants and MSM sensor or actively refute 'all' opposing or conflicting opinions and data. Fear has been sowed so deep and completely, its not hard to grasp why these parents are behaving as they are. Had the media and government been honest and given them the facts, I believe people in general would be functioning very differently than they are.

nope, I do not buy that excuse for a minute bigdeal. Not even a nano second. Please do not give these people any credit that way. It is a choice. A choice to be spoon feed. Or a choice to determine what it is you choose to do. Don't go there with they are just living their life bs.

You may reject what he's saying, but bigdeal is correct.

Around 20 million people in the US watch the network nightly news every day. Throw in all of the cable networks with the exception of Fox News, every newspaper, local news station being extremely liberal and people just absorb what is being said without really paying attention or questioning.

The stories we routinely talk about here in the forum are not discussed in the mainstream media, they aren't even on the majority of people's radar.

If you don't know the corruption exists and the stories that refute the liberal agenda, what do you expect? How do you think countries like North Korea, Germany in WWII, Russia, etc. control their populations? If the people never hear a contrary story they tend to believe what they are being told.

You can criticize people for not being more curious and for not digging deeper, but the reality is that most people live their lives in a bubble, working, taking care of children, running from event to event and believe what they are told.

Why do you think the social media giants are cracking down so hard on conservatives? They don't want stories and information contrary to the liberal agenda widely disseminated.

Lets not forget the influence of Social Media, FB doesn't let a post go by that mentions COVID, shots, etc without inserting their agenda on COVID-19, fact checking everyone that brings up anything that doesn't fit their narrative.

People buy that lock stock and barrel that FB brings truth, they reinforce that anti-vaxxers are simply cavepeople idiots, untrustworthy. Hence the derogatory label of "anti vaxxer" this is clearly the plan for these folks who wish to run the narrative.

People live on these SM sources, they control the narrative, those that want to run the narrative hire others to post comments, ads, become influencers to push the narrative.

SM has done more to make this happen than any other source...

I believe it…we call them “Breeder Zombies.”

As informed as 15 minutes of airport CNN.

Only watch reality TV like the Bachelor.

Only service their cars when the check engine light comes on.

Vacation twice a year with their parents, normally a Shoebe type caravan to some overcrowded beach.

Sit at a green light because they are checking facefuck posts.

Eat out way too much since Mom needs her spin class or yoga and Dad is buying skinny jeans at the mall.

Self absorbed in their bubble and vote based on how they feel. Either based on recycling and saving Mother Earth from global warming or ANYTHING fir the chirrens.

Etc etc

For some people it’s selfish motivation that makes them comply and to despise people who do not. For instance the sports industry. Anyone who makes a living in that industry from professional players to coaches, staff, media people, sports beat writers and so on right down to the mom and dads who’s kids play prep sports do not want their sport shutdown costing them their livelihoods or to live vicariously through their kid who play sports. I’ve heard some local sports talking heads say some pretty harsh things about people especially players who won’t get the jab. They are reliant on those people to keep their livelihoods going.

And if it does get shut down it will always be the fault of the non compliant that’s were the blame will fall and where the anger will be directed. Just last week two sets of parents got in a huge shouting match about vaccinating kids. One pro one con. They happen to be acquaintances of ours and we know them to be long time friends who from what we hear are now bitter enemies. The pro people claimed they just want their kid to be able to play organized hockey and if it gets shutdown it’s because of the other set of parents who don’t want their kid vaccinated.

I think this level of division among the populace is far more than what the elite even hoped for.

Who wins if we are so distracted arguing about those willing or not to get a vaccine that is proving more and more to be in effective against mutations that we forget to ask where it came from and if its spread was intentional?

Why is the media so reluctant to point the finger at the most probable origin of all this bullshit? Why are they so scared to ask the hard questions out loud? Why does it seem like they would rather have us fight with each other rather than ask hard questions and demand truthful answers?

All those questions point in one direction. Refusing to look down a dark path and trying to ignore the obvious just further erodes trust in organizations and institutions to the point that it threatens their existence.

This country is on a serious collision course with the vaccine mandate stuff and I’m amazed at how many at best can’t see it and at worst are cheering it on.

This does not end with that dirty unvaccinated minority bending the knee and saying you were right. Just so you know.

*****

If the representatives of the people betray their constituents, there is then no resource left but in the exertion of that original right of self-defense which is paramount to all positive forms of government, and which against the usurpations of the national rulers, may be exerted with infinitely better prospect of success than against those of the rulers of an individual state. In a single state, if the persons intrusted with supreme power become usurpers, the different parcels, subdivisions, or districts of which it consists, having no distinct government in each, can take no regular measures for defense. The citizens must rush tumultuously to arms, without concert, without system, without resource; except in their courage and despair.

— Alexander Hamilton, Federalist No. 28

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

And away we go! Being reported all over twitter right now:

"JUST IN - Biden to mandate all employers (100 workers or more) require #COVID19 vaccinations or weekly virus tests, affecting as many as 100 million Americans.

Businesses that don't abide by the new virus policy will face "substantial fines up to nearly $14,000 per violation," according to a senior Biden admin official.

In addition, Biden will require health care workers at Medicare & Medicaid participating hospitals and other health care settings to be vaccinated, impacting more than 17 million workers (PBS)"
