They make it sound like if you get the virus, it’s a death sentence. Sure, it can be serious. But if 99% survive, that’s probably better odds than walking across a city street.

Frankly, I’m more scared of drinking the water in Mexico or China. Or traveling to Africa with all the weird virus’s there (ebola, tsetse, etc).

You'd think so...but I just lost two more shooting buddies, the third is still in ICU, over the weekend.

All three were in their 30s. One was extremely fit and active. None had been vacinated

Yikes. Hope he gets better.

Other than you, I don’t know anybody who has a had hint of it since all this started. Although, I actually wonder if I had it. I chalked up a period last year to severe allergies. But I think I lost my sense of taste and smell for a period. But I also had sinus issues so……

To expand a little: I don’t know of anybody who has had this, including people known to friends or family. Or even at work. The only thing I hear about (from a medical practitioner) are people who have been affected by the vaccine and coming in for treatment for various issues.

Even a friend who lived in the SF area - knows nobody who actually got sick. You seem to have a statistically high rate of incident proximity.

Wow. What are the odds? Since January 2020 until today, about 4,700 men in all of America have reportedly died from covid who are in their 30's, and you personally know two of them. That sure is something.

I’d wager we all know people that have had it and never knew they did. I remember reading an article where up to 45% of people that acquired Covid didn’t display significant symptoms, or symptoms were mild enough that they chalked it up to a bad cold or moderate case of flu. The commonly displayed number of cases in the US is 36 million. I don’t believe for a second that only roughly 10% of the country had the wuflu. Not for a second do I believe it.

I am probably one of them. I had no desire to be "tested" with the PCR, but my wife tested positive for the anti-bodies in January after giving blood. We both probably had a mild case in December.

I agree with you: far more people have already had covid than have been tested. It will sweep through the population and there's not a damn thing we can do about it. Try to eat healthy foods, take some vitamin supplements, and spend some time each day outside in the sun. A healthy immune system is far better than the experimental injection.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

I know a couple people: a good friend, who is a member of SIGforum, got hit hard in December 2019, and then again a year later (immunity? Nope). He was really sick.

Then within the last few weeks, the manager of a hardware store that is one of my equipment rental customers died while hospitalized (ICU).

Its time...to just pack it up...worldwide...

The vaccines are out there...get em...or don't.

This whole thing is so cocked-up its just a fucking mess. All the data is a mess...everything is skewed one way of the other...its all fucked up.

Lets the chips fall...let this thing run its course...get the vaccine if you want...prepare as you see fit. Or don't...it doesn't matter either way.

As usual..government got involved and turned this into a shit show.

Australian Capital Canberra Enters 7-Day "Hard" Lockdown, Joining Melbourne And Sydney

https://www.zerohedge.com/covi...melbourne-and-sydney

Just a few hours ago, the Australian capital of Canberra joined Sydney, Melbourne and their surrounding areas by entering a strict lockdown after public health authorities identified the city's first COVID case in a year. On Thursday, authorities confirmed another 3 cases, all linked to the first case. Meanwhile, health authorities in Australia have been tightening restrictions on travel, leaving some Aussies who live abroad trapped in their home country because of a few hundred COVID cases.

The Capital Territory's Chief Minister Andrew Barr announced earlier this week that the "hard" seven-day lockdown would begin at 1700 local time on Thursday (meaning it started a few hours ago). But judging by the repeated extensions in Sydney and Melbourne, the capital territory lockdown will likely remain in place for weeks, if not months.

"This is by far the most serious public health risk the ACT has faced in the past 12 months, and that's why the ACT is entering a strict lockdown in response to this positive case," Barr said.

Already, neighboring territories are imposing restrictions on travel to the capital area. Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk declared the ACT a 'hotspot'. Beginning at 0100 on Aug. 14, Queenslanders will need to remain on their side of the border. Anybody who crosses the border after that point will need to quarantine in a hotel for two weeks. Anybody arriving after 1700 Thursday will be asked to quarantine at home (and that's retroactive to anybody who has traveled in the capital territory since Aug. 9).

Meanwhile, NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro has warned of harsh penalties for any Canberrans found breaking the strict stay-at-home orders to enter NSW.

Australia has become infamous for its military-assisted enforced lockdowns, part of the country's "zero tolerance" policy toward COVID.

NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro has warned of harsh penalties for any Canberrans found breaking the strict stay-at-home orders to enter his province. Barilaro has gone to the trouble of asking Police Commissioner Mick Fuller to 'ramp up' police resources on the state’s South Coast to keep an eye out for ACT number plates seen crossing into the state.

He also threatened to expand the current lockdown surrounding Sydney to cover the entire area of the country’s most populous state (New South Wales) if the cluster found in the capital territory happens to spill into the surrounding regions.

Barilaro said he had asked Police Commissioner Mick Fuller to 'ramp up' police resources on the South Coast keeping an eye out for ACT number plates.

The deputy premier also threatened a statewide lockdown in NSW if the current cluster in ACT was to spill into the surrounding regions. 'That could become problematic for southern NSW. If that was to breach there then I would absolutely be saying then maybe it is time for a statewide lockdown,' Mr Barilaro told 2GB radio.

"We've got to get tougher. Now's the time to go harder and tighter," Barilaro said. He added that the new restrictions being crafted would go "harder than anyone's gone before".

Across Canberra and New South Wales, lines snaked outside of testing centers as thousands rushed to get tested.

Others rushed to get vaccinated, as the country administered a record 500K+ jabs in the span of just two days earlier this week. However, even with the jabs, Australia's zero-tolerance approach practically guarantees that the lockdowns will continue, with most investment banks projecting them to end some time next month.

A perfect example of why people need to be armed. Forget criminals, forget invading armies. You have to deal with the halfwits who gravitate naturally towards government bureaucracy. They're deep thinkers, these people. Roll Eyes Sometimes, the only thing they can understand is the muzzle end of a rifle.

When your own government starts locking you up in your house and tells you that you cannot leave, you have a very big problem.

Title VII 1968 Civil Rights Act

UNLAWFUL EMPLOYMENT PRACTICES
SEC. 2000e-2. [Section 703]

(a) Employer practices

It shall be an unlawful employment practice for an employer -

(1) to fail or refuse to hire or to discharge any individual, or otherwise to discriminate against any individual with respect to his compensation, terms, conditions, or privileges of employment, because of such individual's race, color, religion, sex, or national origin; or

(2) to limit, segregate, or classify his employees or applicants for employment in any way which would deprive or tend to deprive any individual of employment opportunities or otherwise adversely affect his status as an employee, because of such individual's race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.

I sincerely believe that the covid vaccines violate my religious beliefs as they were all manufactured or tested with aborted fetal cells. I have publicly stated on this forum before that I thought it was murder to kill an unborn baby and I still do. It is immoral to me to inject a product in my body that was produced or tested this way.

So if you have the same beliefs you can file the paperwork for a religious exemption. Sig228 if you need more information my email is in my profile.

The Civil Rights Act applies to everyone. The military announced yesterday they would process exemptions for religious reasons. Each case would be evaluated. There are laws to protect you from your employer requiring you to provide proof of church attendance etc. Not everyone that has deeply held religious beliefs go to church.

Pentagon: Service Members Can Request Exemptions From COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate

U.S. military service members will be allowed to seek an exemption from the soon-to-be-mandated COVID-19 vaccines, which would be determined by individual military service regulations, a Pentagon spokesperson said.

“There is a religious exemption possibility for any mandatory vaccine, and there’s a process that we go through to counsel the individual both from a medical and from a command perspective about using a religious exemption,” Pentagon press secretary John Kirby said during a press briefing on Aug. 10.

The department would make sure that every individual with reservations gets proper counseling on the COVID-19 vaccine’s safety and efficacy, Kirby said. Both a medical professional and a commander would counsel the individual about the risks of not being vaccinated and how that might affect deployability, assignments, travel, teammates, and the mission.

“We take freedom of religion and worship seriously in the military. It’s one of the things that we sign up to defend,” Kirby said. “And so it’s something that’s done very carefully.”

The military announced yesterday they would process exemptions for religious reasons. Each case would be evaluated.
