The China virus is one tenth of a micron. The be all end all N95 mask only filters down to 3 tenths of a micron. In other words, it will not filter the virus because the virus is too small for the N95 to filter. The cheap f'ing masks sold at Walmart filter damn near nothing. In Basic Training, you get to experience tear gas. The gas masks keep it out perfectly. Then you crack the mask to remove it and it burns like hell. Care to walk in to one of those buildings with goggles and these cheap masks everyone is wearing? No freaking way would I do that although I was one of the few not overcome by the tear gas and thinking I was going to die. I am not a scientist but I did pass 7th grade science. Maybe that's why they said a year ago that you don/t need masks.

“Our actions may be impeded...
But there can be no impeding our intentions or our dispositions. Because we can accommodate and adapt. The mind adapts and converts to its own purposes the obstacle to our acting.

The impeding to action advances action.

What stands in the way becomes the way.”

The Leftist/Communist/Pravda/TAAS Media in this country need to be held liable for their false propaganda regarding these two treatments that could have saved THOUSANDS of lives. All I'm gonna say...

I can’t help but wonder who came up with “duck and cover” as a valid response in the event of a nuclear attack? Was it scientists? Government scientists? Politicians? Surely, the American public questioned the validity of such a plan. Or did the public just blindly accept the plan?

I was a kid during the 50's and I remember the drills in grade school. I guess we just blindly accepted it. Looking back, "Bend over & kiss your butt good bye" would've been better.

When you understand how nuclear blasts produce casualties in terms of what is survivable vs. what is not, duck and cover makes a whole lot of sense.

The only people a nuclear blast kills for sure are the ones close enough to ground zero that they have no chance. Of all the other casualties of a nuclear blast, 90% could survive if they knew to take cover after the flash to avoid being shredded by glass and debris and had basic knowledge of how to even improvise a shield from radiation for even just 48-72 hrs and only in the narrow downwind fallout area.

A thread drift, but understanding the true nature of a threat really helps you evaluate risks and effective countermeasures vs. ineffective ones or even more destructive ones (like shutting down schools and the economy.)

EU proposes plan for Covid-19 travel certificates

The European Union unveiled a plan Wednesday to set up a travel certificate to help restore freedom of movement within the bloc for citizens inoculated against the coronavirus.

The certificate will show "whether the person has either been vaccinated, or has a recent negative test, or has recovered from Covid, and thus has antibodies," EU Commission president Ursula von der Leyen said.

"With this digital certificate we aim to help member states reinstate the freedom of movement in a safe, responsible and trusted manner."

This will work because vaccinated people can't get sick nor can they be carriers.

Because a negative test is sufficient for both the going and return. Because positive tests are fail proof and will not falsely inconvenience the populace.

Because those who have recovered can't catch at least a variant.

Because all politicians and the wealthy class have no means to work around these constraints. They will always voluntarily adhere to this.

Because there are no better ways to live life.

I'm not an expert, but seems to me the EU has lost their fucking minds. I've never been to Europe. Had hoped to go one day before the ME migration into the EU started and with this, I've lost all interest just on principle.

Unless of course you're an illegal w/o documentation. Then you can travel freely, etc.... Just like the traitors in charge. Traitors and Illegals - same class of privileges. Somehow, that all just makes sense.

If this shit keeps up, then being an "Immigrant" -- Illegal of course! -- will put you in a better situation than being a citizen.

Hell, maybe we are already there and I'm just too stupid and/or stubborn to admit it.

Happily, I've managed to avoid both for many years.

But you won't need any of that to vote because that would be.... wait on it.... racist. Yep, completely insane.
