There are numerous members here who have been very sick or who have lost friends and family to COVID. When a member like BDylan self proclaimed internet guru calls COVID a hoax , that is an insult to those that have been affected. Good evenings.

My 94 year old mother living in an assisted care facility took all of the precautions as mandated.

Face masks, social distancing, sitting at least 6 feet away from others during meals, etc.

She became very depressed, wanting to just go to sleep and never wake up as she said repeatedly.

She thought she was being punished being forced to the cafeteria to eat and yet not being able to talk to anyone.

With every possible precaution in place she still caught COVID-19.

She went to the hospital and it took two weeks to recover.

She is now on anti-depressants and doing better.
For her COVID was nothing compared to the restrictions and isolation.

Maybe it is time for some to realize that we all will depart this world.

It is time to start living again, as the reaction to COVID is worse than the disease.

People die everyday, face it folks, you will as well one day.
Time to stop being afraid to live.

So glad your mother is doing better.

Hard to believe their are still folks believing the actual illness requires the social engineering we're experiencing...because we have certainly controlled this event to this juncture. Fear is a strong emotion.

My opinion on all of this remains resolute.

It is my firm belief that the majority of this thing was a tool and means to an end, and has been most successful.

The damage done during this dick dance has left a tremendous wake of destruction, loss of wealth of the nation, and great harm to the psyche of its people.

And I certainly do understand and regret the loss of folks who died, as I do with most any other cause of death.
