What are all you guys’ state or local restrictions on indoor restaurant dining?
I haven't eaten at a "sit-down" restaurant for some time (reasons unrelated to the commie cooties), but I can tell you dining rooms are allowed to be open - have been for over a month - and there appear to be pretty good crowds in some of them. Gov. Bill Lee, a Republican, overall, has taken a moderate approach to this.

I likely won't ever take it. At least not until I'm about 90.

Virginia Plans Mandatory COVID-19 Vaccinations For All Residents

"Mandatory" is a word that signifies tyranny.
Of course when something is "mandatory" you have to be willing to enforce it. If close to half the population refuse, enforcement is impossible.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

My manager at work retired last year after 30 years with the US Capitol Police. He’s gotten to know all of these Representatives and Senators just from being around them and providing security all those years.

A few weeks ago he told us all “I’ll take the Covid vaccine ONCE I start seeing THEM all getting it. If they aren’t getting it, then I’m not either.”

He said this all with a straight face, no joking whatsoever.

They keep moving the goalposts in order to cling to their drug, power. It’s never been about stopping and eliminating the virus. When I mention this to the panic crowd all I hear is, “We have to adapt to the situation as more information becomes available.” I can’t roll my freakin eyes hard enough without breaking my neck.

To Virginia's members of Congress and their staffs, the Governor and EVERYONE in the state government, all Virginia state legislators and their staffs, ALL local city and town board of supervisors and their staffs and all school board members and their staffs (I probably missed a few) -- YOU FIRST. NO EXCEPTIONS. Time for all you elected politicians to lead by example (for once in your lives).

It’s not going to work the way you are thinking.
See braillediver‘s post above.

Enforcement of Tyrannical laws will be based on being allowed to earn an income and purchase items.
Vaccinations will be enforced as being a condition for employment, not by law enforcement officers.

What do you do when your ability to earn income and purchase food can be easily maintained simply by getting a vaccination?

Here is a tough one for you.

Think about the elderly in care facilities.
To keep them safe rules have been enacted for mask wearing and social distancing.
Visitations have been eliminated or extremely regulated.

It is continuously stated, protect the elderly.
Problem is this takes away their freedom in the later years of life.

My mom is 94 and does not want to go to the dining facility.
She is extremely upset when going to eat, as she cannot talk to anyone sitting 6 feet apart.

The mental/emotional health of the elderly is a huge problem and is not seemingly being addressed.

Do they currently require proof of a flu shot, measles vaccine, HIV test, etc? If no, then good luck mandating a Covid virus. If government and employers are actually stupid enough to go down this mandate path (they are) then the number of lawsuits being filed is going to skyrocket. For Christ sake the standard flu vaccine is what, 50% effective. At some point we need to take all this stupid and beat it into oblivion and go back to enjoying our lives.

So, by following along with this line of thought, will we have to show our 'papers' (i.e. vaccination records) to get into the grocery store? I'd say good luck with that. People are starting to tire big time of these stupid and worthless mask mandates. See what happens when you (government) mandate they stick something in their bodies that is wholly untested. This BS would be a clusterf*ck of monumental proportions, which is why I'm so confident government is dumb enough to attempt it. Personally, I will not be taking this concoction regardless what the retards in government mandate. I also will be a part of the first lawsuits filed when this BS starts.

Well, they do it different in Wuhan nowadays, which looks more American now. Party On Garth.

Just nine months ago, Wuhan was the Chinese city where the first known cases of COVID-19 were confirmed. The city of 11 million people went into lockdown and the virus outbreak became a pandemic, spreading rapidly to almost every country of the world. But pictures from Wuhan last weekend suggest many of its residents have now truly moved on. Thousands of people wearing swimsuits crammed into the Wuhan Maya Beach Water Park for an electronic music festival. It was a massive pool party, complete with a DJ on turntables, dancers wearing colourful rah-rah skirts and a pyrotechnics show. There was little sign of social distancing and not a face mask in sight: many in the crowd floated on large rubber rings, while others waded chest-deep in the water. Meanwhile, women were entitled to half-price admission.

More ammo for President Trump on the campaign trail.

I can't even begin to imagine where this country would be right now if these motherf---ing Libtarded Commie, rat-bastard, no-good, sunsabitches (and yes...some RINOs) hadn't been fighting President Trump every GD step of the way for the past 3+ years. Mad Mad

Trump to make major announcement Sunday night on coronavirus treatment

https://justthenews.com/politi..._campaign=newsletter

After prodding medical regulators to pick up their pace, President Trump will announce Sunday evening a major therapeutic breakthrough for treating COVID-19, the White House says.

White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany tweeted the development late Saturday night.

"News conference with President @realDonaldTrump at 6 pm tomorrow concerning a major therapeutic breakthrough on the China Virus. Secretary Azar and Dr. Hahn will be in attendance," McEnany wrote.

The planned announcement comes after the president pressed the Food and Drug Administration to pick up the pace, even suggesting some bureaucrats were delaying good news until after the general election.

"The deep state, or whoever, over at the FDA is making it very difficult for drug companies to get people in order to test the vaccines and therapeutics," Trump tweeted earlier Saturday. "Obviously, they are hoping to delay the answer until after November 3rd. Must focus on speed, and saving lives!"

So the breakthrough is "convalescent plasma"- taking the antibody-rich blood plasma of a person who has recovered from Covid-19, and transfusing it to a patient with active virus.

Is this really a breakthrough, or just a significant milestone? Early studies indicate that its use could reduce mortality by 35%. OK, I guess that helps, especially if you're one of the 35 out of 100 patients who survives.
