It seems like a catch-22 situation for many.

With employer plans, pay maybe $1000 pre-tax monthly and then pay the first $5000+ of medical costs before insurance starts paying 70%. Insurance contract rates sometimes are good, but other times paying cash is better. Either way, seeing any doctor ends up costing $250 to $1000 depending on what you talk about. Labs and such are extra.

With concierge plans, you pay several thousand to join and then a copay to see a doctor, but the set of concierge doctors available in my area at least is quite small.

So for many, you pay for employer based insurance to cover catastrophic stuff and then only see a doctor if it's absolutely necessary since you know it will cost a lot.

A New York City pediatrician spent the COVID-19 pandemic complaining online about her grueling 12-hour days in full PPE on the frontlines — only to be revealed as a school doctor with a plum 9-to-5 job, according to an explosive report.

Dr. Risa Hoshino had emerged as one of the preeminent physician influencers at the height of the pandemic, created a reputation for herself online as an expert in treating children with COVID-19 and long COVID symptoms, according to Substack blogger Sarah Beth Burwick.

But according to the report, Hoshino has been misrepresenting her job and exaggerating about working long hours in the hospital and saving coronavirus-stricken children.

Hoshino has a $170,000-a-year gig as a New York City public school pediatrician, with most of her work being done remotely, according to Burwick, who describes herself as a lawyer mom from Los Angeles.

While Hoshino reportedly often posed up in personal protection equipment and scrubs, complained about being overworked and disrespected by her patients, and used her public platform to promote mask-wearing and vaccinations, her Instagram page painted a very different picture.

On Hoshino’s IG account, the raven-haired physician was reportedly seen in bikini shots looking carefree on the beach – a far cry from the worn-out COVID doctor persona that she cultivated on Twitter.

Millions of Covid-19 Vaccine Shots Going to Waste in U.S. as Vaccination Program Fizzles: Report

North Carolina alone has wasted 1.7 million doses since the vaccination program began.

The U.S. has wasted millions of covid-19 vaccine doses since the pandemic began, with many more ready to be tossed in the garbage in the coming weeks and months as they expire, according to a damning new report from ABC News. Roughly 50,000 Americans are still getting their first dose each day.

The U.S. has vaccinated just 66.6% of its population against covid-19, the lowest rate among any wealthy country in the world. In fact, the U.S. is ranked 62nd in the world for covid-19 vaccinations, right behind Nepal (66.9%), Sri Lanka (67.4%), and Iran (68.4%), according to Johns Hopkins University.

The ABC News report notes that concrete figures are tough to come by and they’re changing every day, but the amount of waste, even when it’s just a ballpark figure, is staggering when you see how difficult it’s been for many poorer countries to even get access to the vaccines.

For example, North Carolina alone, where just 63% of the population has gotten at least two doses has seen 1.7 million covid-19 shots gone to waste. And in Michigan, where only 60.2% of the population has been fully vaccinated against covid-19, another 1.7 million shots have been sent to landfills. Over 100,000 more shots are set to expire in Michigan within the next two weeks alone.

And while it’s great the U.S. has doses to spare for anyone who wants one, it points to the tremendous inefficiencies and waste of the country’s private health care system. The problem, as experts note, is that once the doses have been delivered to pharmacies and clinics, they can’t be easily rerouted to another part of the world that might have people who are more willing to take up the vaccines.

The U.S. reported 97,966 new cases of covid-19 on Wednesday and 684 deaths, with just 43 of the 50 states reporting totals. Florida alone reported 4,590 new cases on Wednesday, up substantially from weeks prior.

Abstract
Cardiovascular adverse conditions are caused by coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infections and reported as side-effects of the COVID-19 vaccines. Enriching current vaccine safety surveillance systems with additional data sources may improve the understanding of COVID-19 vaccine safety. Using a unique dataset from Israel National Emergency Medical Services (EMS) from 2019 to 2021, the study aims to evaluate the association between the volume of cardiac arrest and acute coronary syndrome EMS calls in the 16–39-year-old population with potential factors including COVID-19 infection and vaccination rates. An increase of over 25% was detected in both call types during January–May 2021, compared with the years 2019–2020. Using Negative Binomial regression models, the weekly emergency call counts were significantly associated with the rates of 1st and 2nd vaccine doses administered to this age group but were not with COVID-19 infection rates. While not establishing causal relationships, the findings raise concerns regarding vaccine-induced undetected severe cardiovascular side-effects and underscore the already established causal relationship between vaccines and myocarditis, a frequent cause of unexpected cardiac arrest in young individuals. Surveillance of potential vaccine side-effects and COVID-19 outcomes should incorporate EMS and other health data to identify public health trends (e.g., increased in EMS calls), and promptly investigate potential underlying causes.

Introduction
Cardiovascular adverse outcomes such as blood clotting (e.g., coronary artery thrombosis), acute coronary syndrome, cardiac arrest and myocarditis have been identified as consequences of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infection1,2,3,4,5. Similarly, data from regulatory surveillance and self-reporting systems, including the Vaccine Adverse events Reporting System (VAERS) in the United States (US)6, the Yellow Card System in the United Kingdom7 and the EudraVigilance system in Europe8, associate similar cardiovascular side-effects9,10,11,12,13 with a number of COVID-19 vaccines currently in use.

More recently, several studies established probable causal relationship between the messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccines of BNT162b2 and mRNA-127311,14,15,16 as well as adenovirus (ChAdOx1) vaccines17 with myocarditis, primarily in children, young and middle-age adults. The study by the Ministry of Health in Israel, a country with one of the highest vaccination rates in the world, assesses the risk of myocarditis after receiving the 2nd vaccine dose to be between 1 in 3000 to 1 in 6000 in men of age 16–24 and 1 in 120,000 in men under 3011,12,13. A follow up study by the US Center of Disease Control (CDC) based on the VAERS and V-Safe self-reporting systems18 further confirms these findings19. The CDC has recently posted a warning regarding a vaccine-related risk of myocarditis, but still maintained their recommendation to vaccinate young individuals and children over 127. Similar concerns are reflected in the recent Food and Drug Administration approval to the Pfizer vaccine that requires several follow studies on the short and long terms effects of myocarditis in young individuals.

Is there any EVIDENCE that old people should get the shot?

Some people claim that if you are old with multiple comorbidities, you should get the shot. But where is the evidence? Apparently, it doesn't exist.

Some people claim that elderly people with multiple comorbidities should take the COVID vaccines and boosters.

The all-cause mortality data required to make such claims should be readily available to the public but isn’t.

Nobody I know has seen any data that would justify these claims.

It is unethical to recommend vaccination in any age group without clear and compelling data of an all-cause risk-benefit. Where is the risk-benefit analysis?

If there was all-cause mortality data that supported the “safe and effective” narrative, it’s highly likely we’d all know about it.

This is more evidence of a very corrupt system that no one in the mainstream medical community or media finds objectionable.
