If I were Israel, I would attack it for aid and abetting their enemy.

Israel security bill includes relief aid 4 times the size of Gaza's GDP: 'We are funding Hamas'

https://justthenews.com/govern..._campaign=newsletter

The House of Representatives Israel aid bill is under scrutiny for including more than $9 billion in humanitarian assistance, which is significantly more than the annual gross domestic product of the Gaza Strip, as critics say the U.S. is essentially funding Hamas through the bill.

The Israel bill, which passed in a 366-58 vote Saturday, allocates $26.4 billion in aid to the region, including more than $9.1 billion marked as "Migration and Refugee Assistance" and "International Disaster Assistance," to address the humanitarian needs that arose in the Gaza Strip following the Oct. 7, 2023, attack on Israel.

The aid is more than four times the amount of the annual GDP in the Gaza Strip, which was about $2 billion last year, according to the United Nations. However, the damage done to the infrastructure in Gaza since Oct. 7 is about $18.5 billion, according to a joint World Bank and the United Nations report earlier this month.

While the Israel funding bill calls for the Secretary of State to establish oversight measures to ensure that the aid is not diverted by Hamas, a U.S.-designated foreign terrorist group, the fact that Hamas is the elected government of the Gaza Strip poses a significant challenge to oversight.

"Biden and this administration knows that almost all of it is stolen by Hamas," Zionist Organization of America President Morton Klein told Just the News about funding given to Gaza.

"We are funding Hamas. Do you realize the nightmare of this? We are funding Hamas with this 9 billion. What is wrong with this administration?" Klein also said. Even some Palestinian activists have voiced similar concerns.

Ramzi Awda, the secretary-general of the International Campaign to Combat the Occupation and Apartheid, said during a Palestinian television interview that Hamas has been stealing aid to resell it.

The aid trucks enter Gaza after being checked by the Israelis and an "armed militia of Hamas" seizes the aid, Awda said earlier this month on Al-Awda TV, a network associated with the Fatah Party that rules the West Bank, according to The Middle East Media Research Institute.

"Most of the aid is being stolen – over 60% or 70% of the aid goes to the warehouses of some movements, some factions, some tribes," Awda said. He also said that Hamas owns the warehouse and "re-sell the products to the people at exorbitant prices."

Klein also said that not only is Congress giving money to Hamas, but the Biden administration is "funding the biggest funder of terrorism of Islamic terrorism in the world" by waiving sanctions on Iran, a major funder of Hamas, and allowing the country to generate money through oil sales.

For example, earlier this month, the White House defended sanctions waivers for Iran that allowed the Islamic Republic to access $10 billion in funding, per the Foundation for Defense of Democracies.

"This administration should be ashamed of themselves for funding Hamas and the biggest funder of terrorism in the world, Iran. It's just mind-boggling," Klein said.

Interesting video of Mia Shem, a former hostage. She makes some comments at around the 16:00 mark regarding even the children being "pure evil". She states, "There are no innocent civilians in Gaza". It's pretty eye-opening.

Of course. In all this time, how many Gaza residents have said they are on Israel's side, and that their leaders are wrong for having attacked and killed the Israeli citizens ? None. Zero. Nada. They are all terrorists, every last one of them, except for the ones who are trying to escape to Israel for asylum because they fear their own Hamas government and support Israel. So, where are they ? The crickets are very loud aren't they.

Columbia starts suspending students in anti-Israel encampment

“Pro-Palestine student demonstrators at Columbia University are being suspended after defying an ultimatum to leave their makeshift encampment on the campus.

Authorities at the Ivy League university in New York demanded the protest encampment be cleared by 2pm on Monday afternoon or that students would face disciplinary action.

However, the deadline came and there was little movement - from either the protestors or the university to clear them.

A few hours later, Columbia vice president of communications Ben Chang said the university had 'begun suspending students as part of this next phase of our efforts to ensure safety on our campus.'

Chang said students had been warned they would be 'placed on suspension, ineligible to complete the semester or graduate, and will be restricted from all academic, residential and recreational spaces.' …”

[We’ll see if this actually happens]

This is hilarious. Listen to the imbecilic narrator complaining that the police aren't doing their job (when it suits her of course).

The students' plight has become a central part of protests, with students and a growing number of faculty demanding their amnesty. At issue is whether universities and law enforcement will clear the charges and withhold other consequences, or whether the suspensions and legal records will follow students into their adult lives.

Columbia is still pushing to remove the tent encampment on the campus main lawn where graduation is set to be hosted May 15. The students have demanded the school cuts ties with Israel-linked companies and ensure amnesty for students and faculty arrested or disciplined in connection with the protests.

Talks with the student protesters are continuing, said Ben Chang, a Columbia spokesperson. “We have our demands; they have theirs,” he said.

For international students facing suspension, there is the added fear of losing their visas, said Radhika Sainath, an attorney with Palestine Legal, which helped a group of Columbia students file a federal civil rights complaint against the school Thursday. It accuses Columbia of not doing enough to address discrimination against Palestinian students.

“The level of punishment is not even just draconian, it feels like over-the-top callousness,” Sainath said.

More than 40 students were arrested at a Yale demonstration last week, including senior Craig Birckhead-Morton. He is due to graduate May 20 but says the university has not yet told him if his case will be submitted to a disciplinary panel. He worries about whether he will receive a diploma and if his acceptance to Columbia graduate school could be at risk.

In an open letter to Chancellor Daniel Diermeier, more than 150 Vanderbilt professors criticized the university’s crackdown as “excessive and punitive.”

Freshman Jack Petocz, 19, one of those expelled, is being allowed to attend classes while he appeals. He has been evicted from his dorm and is living off campus.

Petocz said protesting in high school was what helped get him into Vanderbilt and secure a merit scholarship for activists and organizers . His college essay was about organizing walkouts in rural Florida to oppose Gov. Ron DeSantis’ anti-LGBTQ policies.

“Vanderbilt seemed to love that,” Petocz said. “Unfortunately, the buck stops when you start advocating for Palestinian liberation.”

A merit scholaship for activists and organizers

What in the fuck are they talking about? That's not how civil disobedience works. The idea is that you so strongly believe in someone that you are willing to go to jail for it. Granted those tickets were for trespassing. These people are doing property destruction and hate crimes in addition to the trespassing.

Remember when hate crimes used to be really bad things? Amazing how hate crimes are perfectly acceptable nowadays as long as the victims are Jews.

Y'all did the fucking crime, don't be pussies, show conviction for your beliefs.

NYPD cops dressed in riot gear have stormed through the window of a Columbia University building to flush out dozens of pro-Palestine protesters barricaded within.

Cops flooded the Ivy League campus in New York City and made a push toward Hamilton Hall, which students violently took over early Tuesday.

Dozens of people were arrested near the building after cops armed with zip ties and pepper spray broke in via a window.

The raid comes after Columbia leaders asked NYPD to come to the campus 'to restore order and safety' following an escalation in the protester's tactics.

University administrators asked the NYPD to maintain a presence on campus until at least May 17, with graduation ceremonies scheduled for May 15.

An encampment first sprung up at the school on April 17 after the university's president Minouche Shafik was hauled before Congress to address anti-Semitism on campus.

Around 9pm, officers stormed the university as the crowd chanted and yelled at them, some confronted the officers and pushed barricades to try and block their path.

In a statement, the university said the decision to call in police was, 'made to restore safety and order to our community'.

'We regret that protesters have chosen to escalate the situation through their actions,' the statement read.

After the University learned overnight that Hamilton Hall had been occupied, vandalized, and blockaded, we were left with no choice.

'Columbia public safety personnel were forced out of the building, and a member of our facilities team was threatened. We will not risk the safety of our community or the potential for further escalation.'

Donald Trump praised officer's response to the situation, but said it should have come 'a lot sooner'.

'There's tremendous damage that's been done to that building, when you look at it it's a landmark and it's really been damaged by these people,' he told Fox News. 'People have to respect the law and order of this country.'

He also hit out at the president and called for him to speak up more strongly against anti-Semitism.

The occupation of Hamilton Hall was the latest escalation in the unrest which has rocked the school in recent weeks.

Activists have been camped out at the Ivy League school's South Lawns since April 17.

War at UCLA as Pro-Israel Vigilantes Storm Palestine ‘Encampment’ Overnight

Roughly 100 pro-Israel vigilantes stormed the “Palestine Solidarity Encampment” at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning, sparking battles with activists.

Fights breaking out, dozens more sprayed, assaults happening on both sides, crowds growing larger, ZERO law enforcement present.
