Hunter is an unpredictable little toad; knowing his pardon hangs in the balance of either the election or daddy-dear giving him one before he departs which the old fraud claimed he wouldn’t do could trigger any kind of aberrant behavior. The Biden’s are finished in the world of beltway-insider high life. A pardon will open up others to potential prosecution. Hunter can be compelled to testify against anyone for any crime because he cannot claim a 5th Amendment right if he has been pardoned. Many in the Biden clan have apparently been involved in numerous crimes, from bribery to money laundering to tax evasion. Jill, Joe, his brothers, and who knows who else could all face federal prosecution, and Hunter could be forced to testify. Joe could commute Hunter's gun and tax sentences instead. Then Hunter could refuse to testify against others. However, then Hunter could also be prosecuted for any additional crimes such as bribery, money laundering, etc. Joe's 3rd option is to pardon everyone within the family. Joe would be the only one unprotected, but we know he won't be prosecuted. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. | |||

How exactly do they compel him to testify against others? A pardon is not the same as receiving immunity. I'm pretty sure a pardon is as close to diplomatic immunity as it gets. At least as far as past acts are concerned. So, since Hunter could not be prosecuted for past acts, he can't claim a right against self-incrimination for past acts. We all know he won't be able to keep his nose clean in the future, but granting a pardon for all past acts that could be considered federal crimes, well. | |||

IF the right people are investigating and prosecuting crimes, it will happen. You're saying the Biden crime family is immune from prosecution, and I refuse to believe that. I don't think the Bidens will have any power behind the scenes to obstruct justice. It appears the Biden family network was operating for their personal enrichment within a closed family network, not involving other powerful government officials. The Clintons, Obamas, and the multitudes of deep state bureaucrats have many intermingled tentacles and thus the motivation to keep crimes hidden. Bringing down one person will implicate many others in extended networks. As long as the embedded loyalists are in place in DoJ and the leftist media, those people are safe. Not so the Bidens. | |||
