If a President can order Seal Team 6 to kill a political rival, why doesn't Biden order them to get Trump, Vance, and all the Republicans that could replace them?

Per Biden, he would be immune from prosecution so why not just do it?

And WTF was he talking about after slandering SCOTUS? Meandering gibberish about being inspired by civil rights and MLK despite the fact that he was mentored by Klansmen and voted against school integration?

The rich irony that a guy who has been sucking off the gov teat for 50 friggen' years is now calling for term limits is completely lost on these people on the Left.

And how does the Executive Branch get to dictate to the Judicial Branch how they are to conduct themselves?

The Executive branch does not strictly speaking dictate to the SCOTUS, aside from appointing Justices, but Congress most definitely does. And considering the Executive branch can propose legislation, they can exert power on the Judicial branch.

So, “they” don’t like what they see as politicized decisions by a conservative majority BUT politicized decisions by a liberal majority would be ok?

Fact is the vast majority of decisions are not split along party lines.

Seems to me these 5/4 and 6/3 splits are only an issue where folks go beyond originalist or constructionism application of law and move into judicial activism or questionable “interpretations”.

What part of "...Shall not be infringed" don't you understand???

As Alan Dershowitz pointed out, this nonsense about term limits is being thrown about by Biden and his cronies for votes this November. The manner in which Supreme Court justices leave the court is enshrined in the Constitution; resign, retire, or die. Therefore, a Constitutional amendment would be required in order to implement term limits in the SCOTUS, which is an intensive, drawn-out process. It's not going to happen at all, much less, before the election. It's merely anther tantrum from leftists. They didn't get their way, so we get to listen to this nonsense.

While I agree with Dershowitz that this is a bid for votes, it seems to me that it's going to be ineffective. Anyone who wants to impose term limits on the court is angry about the overturning of Roe v. Wade and the presidential immunity decision and the like, and is therefore already voting against Trump (as opposed to voting for a viable candidate, which the Dems do not have at this time.)

If these people could see past the end of their noses, they'd realize this scheme, if enacted, could go against them at some future date.

And its part of the politics of the election where they are implying that a vote for DJT is a vote for more conservatives on the court for a long time as potentially he'll get to replace someone or more than one.

They always fail to see this - see judicial filibuster and SCOTUS filibuster.

I think this is because they honestly believe that once they get control, they will never lose it. How many times have they predicted the "blue wave" and increasing diversity of the population keeping them in power indefinitely.

Here are the “term limits” I’d like to see (negotiable):

Supreme Court: 10 years, max
Senate: 2 6-year term, max
House of Rep: 4 2-year term, max
Civil office/bureaucrat: combo of age + years of service = 55 years
AGE LIMIT: not to exceed 68 yoa upon completion of last term of office

There’s an age minimum for a reason, and it’s that the overwhelming majority of individuals aren’t capable of office before then.

And age limit serves the same purpose, there will always be exceptions but that isn’t the point.

Why did Biden go onto the plane after the prisoners got off?

1. To show he could climb stairs

2. To sniff seats

It was an official function. He saw a plane. He saw stairs. It's what you do when you're POTUS. Still, he almost didn't make it on the way up.

The guy doesn't even know where he is...or where he's going. I can just see a guy inside telling him he's on the wrong plane.

It was rather sad to watch, but even sadder was watching Chlamydia and the others looking at him and pretending that they knew what he was doing (and that he knew what he was doing). They really do think we're that stupid.
