Psychiatrist Suggests That Biden Was Given a Stimulant to Make It Through His 90-Minute SOTU Speech

President Joe Biden gave his 2024 State of the Union address at 9 p.m.— way past his usual 4 p.m. dinner and bedtime.

So, how did the 81-year-old president stay awake and coherent enough to make a 90-minute speech in front of the nation? This might be the reason why.

A psychiatrist told the Washington Times that he believes Biden may have been medicated for his address, citing speculation that the president usually exhibits signs of dementia due to his regular episodes of aggression toward reporters and inability to remember critical things.

Dr. Carol Lieberman, a forensic psychiatrist based in Beverly Hills, California, told the outlet that Biden may have been given a stimulant to keep him alert and focused. Throughout his address, the president often shouted words and moved his hands at a more rapid rate than he normally does.

“If you look at how Joe Biden usually is — slow and stumbling — compared to how he was during the State of the Union — fiery and angry — these are signs that are typical for someone taking Adderall or any amphetamine,” she said.

Per the Washington Times, Biden showed signs that his “unusually energetic performance” was not of his nature.

“Dr. Lieberman, who has not personally examined the president, said the signs of potential pharmaceutical use go beyond how Mr. Biden spoke during the nearly 90-minute speech, but also in his mannerisms.

For example, Mr. Biden typically rests his hands on the podium while delivering a speech from the teleprompter. During the State of the Union, he frequently gestured and moved with his hands at a rapid rate, she said.

Truer words were never spoken.

Of course it's also true that we have among the highest inflation rates of any country in America.

You could also say that we are REALLY average!

Biden Grants Iran Billions In Sanctions Relief Amid Secret Talks Over Red Sea Attacks

https://www.zerohedge.com/geop...locks-some-10bn-iran

President Joe Biden late in the day Wednesday reapproved a $10 billion sanctions waiver for Iran, drawing immediate ire from GOP lawmakers who see it as appeasing a 'rogue regime' at a moment a proxy war is still unfolding in Iraq and Syria, and as Israel's war against Hamas and Tehran-backed Hezbollah threatens to spillover in the broader region.

The State Department has sought to emphasize that the waiver program to release funds is conditioned on Iran only being able to access humanitarian supplies, including food and medicine, with it. Key exemptions have also focused on being granted access to Iraq electricity supplies.

Republican hawks have seen this as an example of another Democratic administration caving, but this time at a crucial moment where the war against Hamas is raging, and the Islamic Republic has long been seen as a key backer of terrorists in Gaza.

Iran International has concluded of the Biden administration controversy, "If the administration’s plan was to keep the region – and Iran – quiet until after the 2024 US election – the recent developments have proven that plan to have backfired."

The way that Iran has utilized previously unfrozen funds remains largely unclear, according to international reports, with critics alleging the policy frees up Tehran to pursue terror funding abroad, also in places like Yemen amid Houthi attacks on Red Sea shipping.

According to further details of Biden's Wednesday renewal of the waiver via the Free Beacon:

The sanctions waiver—which has drawn fierce GOP opposition on Capitol Hill—allows Iraq to transfer electricity payments to Iran via third-party countries. The sanctions waiver was last approved by the Biden administration in November and set to expire this month, putting the White House in a tight position as a mounting chorus of GOP lawmakers express concern about sanctions being bypassed. The authority granted in the latest waivers allows Iraq to convert dinars into Euros and transfer payments into Iranian banks accounts in Oman.

Ever since the US pullout of the JCPOA nuclear deal by the Trump administration, there's been a perpetual Republican-Democrat fight over sanctions bills, with the Dems opting to pursue compromise with Tehran based on things like prisoner exchanges and promises of good behavior.

After Oct.7, pro-Iranian militias across Iraq and Syria began regularly sending drone and mortar attacks against US bases there. There have been well over 100 of these attacks so far, but recent weeks have been without any major incident. In Syria especially, Damascus and Hezbollah want to see the illegal American occupation ended by any means possible.

As for the ongoing Houthi attacks on US warships and international shipping in the Red Sea, Financial Times has revealed that the Biden administration has been holding secret talks with Iran, seeking to pressure Tehran to stop the Houthis:

The US has held secret talks with Iran this year in a bid to convince Tehran to use its influence over Yemen’s Houthi movement to end attacks on ships in the Red Sea, according to US and Iranian officials.

The indirect negotiations, during which Washington also raised concerns about Iran’s expanding nuclear program, took place in Oman in January and were the first between the foes in 10 months, the officials said.

The US delegation was led by the White House’s Middle East adviser Brett McGurk and its Iran envoy Abram Paley. Iranian deputy foreign minister Ali Bagheri Kani, who is also Tehran’s top nuclear negotiator, represented the Islamic republic.

These backchannel negotiations have also been described by US officials as "a method for raising the full range of threats emanating from Iran." But it is increasingly clear that Tehran and its regional proxies are increasingly in the driver's seat, and Washington is left with fewer and fewer options.

Remember all of the generals and admirals that supported Brennan and were so concerned about America and democracy? They wrote all those open letters and op-eds? That the President was spewing dangerous rhetoric and it was so unprofessional on the world stage.

Where are they today?

(Especially now that Brennan has been exposed as a serial liar)

^^^^ Fox article

Vice President Harris should "step aside," Washington Post columnist Kathleen Parker wrote on Friday, as she called the vice president's performance "disappointing," and warned she's become a "burden to the Democratic ticket."

While she said she was pulling for Harris to succeed, Parker argued her performance "has been disappointing."

"The Kamala conundrum comes down to this: She was picked because she was Black and female, a combo tantamount to job security. Now that she has become a burden to the Democratic ticket, Biden can’t fire her. He can’t risk alienating his base. Full stop. The seriousness of this situation can’t be overstated. Biden’s diminishing faculties, notwithstanding his relatively successful State of the Union address, and his increasing physical frailty are concerning," Parker wrote.

"Whatever the reasons, it has seemed that Harris’s role was to be quiet, lest she embarrass her boss with her sometimes inane, rambling remarks and a laugh that erupts from nowhere about nothing obvious to others," Parker wrote.

The headline to the column read, "For the country’s sake, Vice President Harris should step aside."

Parker argued that her perspective was not partisan as she also called for Sarah Palin to quit in 2008.

The Washington Post columnist noted Harris was unpopular with voters, and said her popularity was unlikely to spike if she were to become president, should something happen to President Biden.

"There’s no reason to think her ranking would spike were she suddenly promoted to the Oval Office. Instead, most signs point to disaster. This is why I propose with all due respect that Harris step away from the ticket," Parker continued.

"Please, Madame Vice President, do it for your country," Parker concluded.

A USA Today/Suffolk University poll from early March found that Harris is more unpopular than both President Biden and former President Trump.

The data from the national survey shows that approximately 52% of registered voters disapprove of her performance as vice president.

Harris recently said during a media interview that she was "ready to serve," prior to the release of Special Counsel Robert Hur's report on Biden's handling of classified documents.

"I am ready to serve. There’s no question about that," Harris told The Wall Street Journal, adding that everyone who observes her work "walks away fully aware of my capacity to lead."

I agree. I am fully aware of her capacity to lead Smile

feedback the Wash Post has received:

In the 24 hours since her column was published, it has received comments from 10,141 readers, a majority of whom just wanted to let her know that she is a racist and a misogynist. A sample:

Blatant racism. Why is the Post publishing such?

Fire that writer and ban her from these pages

what an awful misogynistic, racist piece of smelliness

Shame on you, your true colors are showing.

This is racism. Why did you publish this, WaPo? Fire this creature.

Like most republican women, Kathleen Parker hates women and the rights of women.

Careful, your southern plantation views are showing

Why is this racist disgusting piece of recycled hits on the veep WaPo's number one featured opinion?????

Is this the Washington Post or Fox "News"??

Such an ugly piece. I expect the sexism from the boy's club but it is painful to see it internalized like this.

What's the matter, Kathleen. Is she a bit too black?

It is truly remarkable and quite the indictment of the Washington Post opinion section that in the year 2024 they are still publishing blatantly bigoted columns like this from Kathleen Parker.

What a sexist, racist, rant.

Yes, women of color are icky. That's the message from this white lady.

You’re a walking insult to any woman with an ounce of self respect and dignity. A repulsive human being.

This kind of snarky ignorance should not be printed by the WAPO.

What a sexist column!

I started to read this column but I had to withdraw prematurely because I’ve already exceeded my quota of racist, misogynistic concern trolling for the current calendar year.

This is a shamefully racist OpEd the WP should have opted not to print. Sad.

This may be the most racist column I’ve seen in years. On the other hand, it’s what I expect from Ms Parker.

A truly offensive column. Repugnant is the only word I can use.
Thanks but no thanks Trump-lite...WaPo what is this sexist, racist, ageist bs?
What a disgusting, untrue, racist, and misogynistic opinion.
I can not believe this racist trash was allowed to be published.

For a tremendous number of Democrats, the suggestion that Harris hasn't done a great job and wouldn't be a great president is racist, sexist BS that should immediately lead to the person who spoke up being fired or silenced. This is the party of identity politics.

Schadenfreude: Biden is flying into rages now against his staff

Joe Biden is not happy about his polling numbers.

According to NBC News, citing 20 anonymous staffers and allies:

WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden was seething.

In a private meeting at the White House in January, allies of the president had just told him that his poll numbers in Michigan and Georgia had dropped over his handling of the war between Israel and Hamas.
Both are battleground states he narrowly won four years ago, and he can’t afford any backsliding if he is to once again defeat Donald Trump. He began to shout and swear, a lawmaker familiar with the meeting said.

He believed he had been doing what was right, despite the political fallout, he told the group, according to the lawmaker.

...

For months, Democrats have watched the 2024 campaign unfold with rising alarm as the sitting president struggles to gain ground against his defeated predecessor. Frustrations rippling through the party have reached the top, with Biden at times second-guessing travel decisions and communications strategies that have left much of the electorate clueless about his record, interviews with nearly 20 lawmakers, present and past administration officials and Biden allies show.

That's got to be miserable stuff for staffers on the receiving end, particularly since, as NBC reports, they're taking the brunt of his out-of-control anger.

He's blaming his staff for many things, not just his bad poll numbers, which hover around 38% public approval at last reading, according to the NBC report, a number so low no president running for re-election in modern times has overcome them. Past presidents, such as Jimmy Carter and George Bush, Sr. were defeated on higher public approval ratings than Joe has. Nobody's as low as Joe.

Biden claims that his staff is "cocooning" him away from the public as if his many gaffes and physical stumbles weren't reason enough to do so.

Here's an icky quote from a staffer, which has public relations written all over it.

“The president and his advisers have all been eager for him to be out there more and planned for that to take place at the start of the election year, as has been the norm for past incumbents seeking re-election,” the second person familiar with the matter said.

Some of staff have complained that Biden is playing defense, trying to shore up his base, not trying to persuade new voters, which sounds about par, particularly since recent reports say he's hemorrhaging working class black and Latino voters who are moving to President Trump.

Others say he should be let out more often and walk faster, even though others still say he's falling flat on his face when he does.

Still others say he needs an army of surrogates to carry his message since he can't do it alone.

You can tell from the report that the staff don't know what to do, but there Biden is, raging at them for his miserable polling numbers.

NBC unquestioningly insists that Biden has a good economy to brag about and voters just don't get it.

That's where the real problem is. No, the economy is not good, and voters know it. Grocery and gas and heating prices are sharply higher while salaries are lower and housing is out of the question for many.

Illegals have taken many of the "jobs created" and if not illegals, legal immigrants, which sounds like replacement theory.

It's wretched stuff based on the world's most wretched presidential record. It frankly stinks.

But that's not where Biden is. He's bellowing at staff about why voters don't love him.

They will never be able to tell him the truth and he won't look for it. But look forward to staff resigning as he rages at them -- and lots of tell-all books.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."
