During his State of the Union address Thursday night, President Joe Biden will reportedly announce an order for the U.S. military to build a port in the Gaza Strip for delivery of humanitarian aid. The move comes as Iranian backed terrorist organization Hamas, which started the war against Israel on October 7, continues to steal aid trucks sent into the area by Israel, Jordan and other countries. Hamas is still holding more than 100 hostages, including six Americans.

The second official clarified that the operation to build the port involves U.S. military personnel on military vessels "but does not require U.S. military personnel to go ashore to install the pier or causeway facility that will allow the transportation of humanitarian assistance ashore."

It's not possible to predict all the ways President Biden will exaggerate, mislead, and outright lie in his speech on Thursday. But we can be sure of two things. The "state of the Union" is not as strong as Biden will say it is. And his policy ambitions risk making it much worse.

Listening to his speech, it sounds like he's admonishing his own party, but the projecting is first rate.

This is a political stump speech.

I'm not hearing anything, so far, about the national debt, the border or Israel. Inflation and interest rates have no attention.

No such medication exists. There are no medications that effectly treat cognitive impairment. He has good days and bad days and will continue to decline intellectually.

I thought State of the Union, meant what condition the nation is in. Color me stupid, he did a rally on the floor of Congress. Of course the vilian is Majorie Green, and people who booed him. Free speech is only free, if they approve. What I expected.
