Their secondary problem's downright funny, though.

"We gotta stay on the ballot - we just suspended the campaign."

"But Biden's got it all sewn up."

"Right, but we get to collect delegates to force Biden to negotiate with us so that we get what we want even though everything we want will be an albatross around Joe's neck. And you gotta pay for the ballots, for the communications, for everything else we can make you pay for, 'cause that's only fair."

"So when does Joe get to concentrate on beating Trump?"

"When we're satisfied that we've gotten what we wanted. And if that takes until the general election, so be it - we're fighting for justice!"

OK, so that's more cheap schadenfreude, but I still love watching Democrats get Democratted.

I have seen recently where people are pointing out that Joe Biden basically has turned over speaking duties to Lady Macbeth Jill Biden. He is so far gone, he cannot even speak clearly any longer and she has to speak for him during these reports out of his Delaware bunker.

What we need is “economic intercourse”!

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Yep, I love it.

I'm both fearful and hopeful they just nominate someone else. Maybe Whitmer or Cuomo, they've both gotten more famous out of this, and would be better candidates. People would either galvanize behind this dark horse candidate or total DJT landslide. Not sure which is more likely.

For now, I'm just enjoying the shit show.

Someone should track down every major Dem who proclaimed "I believe her" regarding Kavenaugh's accuser and get them on camera saying whether or not they believe Biden's accuser. These clips should be the cornerstone for every congressional race in 2020.

Hillary Clinton teases she'll be 'surprise guest' at Biden town hall, as endorsement expected

I guess with the recent news, she's determined he's a guy she can really relate to. I'm sure she has some good techniques to teach him on intimating rape witnesses.

This is getting sad and cringeworthy.

Fundamental principles of democrats.

1. Rules for thee, but not for me. Tis good to be king. Some animals are more equal.

2. Tell a lie big enough and often enough, the people will believe it.

3. If it wasn't for double standards, we would have no standards.

"WASHINGTON, D.C.—Democratic presumptive presidential nominee Joe Biden was cleared in federal court today of charges that some claimed were based upon credible allegations of sexual assault when the judge quickly realized that Joe Biden was not a Republican...."

“...This is a victory for the judicial standard in our country of assuming the accused are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law,” stated Alyssa Milano. “We always need to maintain this standard of maintaining silence and withholding judgment on such cases when it is convenient and maintains our narratives.”

“I believe and hear you, Joe” she added.

At publishing time, celebrities were circulating a video in which they were singing individual lines of "Imagine" off-key in support of the rich, old, white male Democrat who was promising to take down the bad orange man."

https://hotair.com/archives/al...push-vice-president/

Stacey Abrams, a former Georgia lawmaker and unsuccessful candidate for governor, has been privately calling Democratic powerbrokers, asking them to tell Biden campaign officials that she should be vice president, according to multiple labor leaders familiar with the discussions…

But navigating the Biden campaign’s internal politics may be tricky for Abrams given Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms’ close relationships with Biden brass. Lance Bottoms has long been an Abrams rival, declining to endorse her in the 2018 gubernatorial primary and speaking positively about her opponent, Stacey Evans.

What’s embarrassing is that (a) she’s campaigning not just privately but publicly, via a media tour that’s brought her to “The View” and various print publications, and (b) she’s a longshot but her ubiquity gives the impression that she’s a short-lister, which means her campaign for the job seems destined to end with perceptions that she’s been “snubbed” by Biden when she’s not chosen.

It’s not just that she’s being unusually candid about her ambition, in other words. It’s that she risks doing actual damage to Biden and Democratic party unity by treating her VP chances as a sort of litmus test of racial progress even though she’s surely aware how unusual it would be for a politician who’s held neither federal nor statewide office to be chosen as vice president.

^^ Little surprise there - Biden's getting what Thom Wolfe used to refer to as "Mau Mau'ed". The problem with her theory is that Biden could pick any number of veep candidates, including black women, who would relegate Stacey to an utterly forgotten also-ran without breaking a sweat.

Well, that's it, the whole Biden sexual assault scandal is over - Nancy Pelosi says she's "satisfied" with Biden's explanation and endorses him.

Biden actually accomplished something no one else has achieved... If he could only mute her for the next 6 months, his polls would likely rise 10 points.

Regarding Stacey's push (or is it a "putsch"?) to be anointed VP, Rep. Lacy Clay (D - Mo), nailed it:

“You know, at the race track, you cannot show up at the winner’s window with loser’s tickets. You haven’t won anything. You can’t show up at the winner’s window with loser’s tickets and demand anything.

“I’ll tell you what is somewhat offensive to me, is when you are marketing yourself as a VP candidate,” Clay added, stating that “for you to be out there marketing and putting on a PR campaign that way, I think it’s inappropriate.”

Lacy Clay is a pretty funny guy. He's a reliable Democrat but he's a decent guy and will work with his Republican colleagues when he can.
