Don't be so quick, if she wins the seat she will only have done so with 43% of the vote, which means 57% of us didn't want her in office. Blame ranked choice voting which is pissing off a lot of Alaskans now that those who voted for it are seeing its effects. It's also the reason the democrat Mary Peltola will be going to the House with less than 50% of the vote as well.

Well yeah, it's their damn stupid fault for being hoodwinked into it. So, shame on them, after all.

Arizona Assistant Attorney General Jennifer Wright will not certify the 2022 election until she gets answers to the botched Maricopa County election fiasco.

“These complaints go beyond pure speculation, but include first-hand witness accounts that raise concerns regarding Maricopa’s lawful compliance with Arizona election law,” the assistant attorney general said in a letter to a top elections official, The Daily Mail reported.

Brazil’s Bolsonaro says that Brazil’s election stolen ‘pretty much the same way’ as America’s
[video in English]

Free, small-d democratic societies are degenerating into tyrannies before our very eyes. Even as our own dominant media ignore the obvious, people around the world are noticing. As reported by Susan D. Harris today, the new government in Brazil, following an election that has been widely disputed as fixed by millions of demonstrators, has learned from the totalitarian response of the Trudeau government in Canada, seizing the bank accounts of protestors in that nation’s Freedom Convoy in Ottawa, and is trying to take away demonstrators’ children from the custody of their parents.

Demonization and confiscation of the assets of regime opponents are hallmarks of totalitarian regimes, even when given a patina of legality through executive orders and the like.

In the United States, hundreds of political prisoners languish in DC jails, with 20 months of pretrial confinement (many in solitary), an outrageous abuse of the judicial system that has drawn almost no protest from the powers that be in the Republican Party, fearful, evidently, of being tarred with the brush of an “insurrection” that was the first in history to be unarmed and ushered into the seat of Congress by guards holding open the doors.

At least in Brazil, a country whose democratic traditions were, until now, regarded as weaker than those of the USA, millions of citizens are turning out to protest what they regard as a stolen election. And the former head of government, President Jair Bolsonaro, is not only speaking out, he is comparing his own country’s stolen election with that of the United States. Watch the video in this tweet as he responds to a question in English from a reporter from the United States who asks if his election was stolen as was America’s, and he responds, “Pretty much the same way.”

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Pretty sure a mandatory recount will happen due to the margin. Perhaps someone from CO can chime in as to when it's required to be completed. I mean, have they even finished the initial count yet?

As far as I know, the counting for Boeberts race is done. She won by 511 votes. Frisch has conceded. There will be an automatic recount (because of the less than .5%), which is to be finished no later than Dec. 15th, according to my local newspaper I picked up today. Pretty sure we can count her in, but the media, and the .gov will drag it out for whatever purpose.

Murkowski wins Alaska senate seat

Before the ranked votes were redistributed, it was
Mur 43.3%
Tsh 42.7%
DEM chesbro 10%

after the DEM Chesbro ranked votes were redistributed to the second choice, it was

Mur 53.7%
Tsh 46.3%

The second choice for the DEM was mostly Murkowski. She played Ranked Choice Voting perfectly to get the DEMs to elect her.

time line for CO 03 recount

https://sentinelcolorado.com/n...-recount-would-work/

In Colorado, an automatic recount is triggered when the margin of votes between the top two candidates is at or below 0.5% of the leading candidate’s vote total.

Boebert’s lead as of Thursday night translated to about 0.34%.

Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold has until the end of the day Dec. 5 to declare whether the vote margin is tight enough to require a mandatory recount. Counties must complete the retabulation by Dec. 13.

Griswold’s office will send out the rules and relevant dates to the counties. County clerks then run what’s called a logic and accuracy test on their voting equipment. The test feeds imitation ballots through the system to ensure that the machines’ counts match a hand count. If a machine fails the assessment, ballots will be hand counted.

If the machines pass the tests, the ballots are then rescanned. If the machine can’t determine a voter’s choice, bipartisan teams review those ballots to determine who gets those votes.

The whole process is overseen by a canvass board staffed by both Democratic and Republican representatives.

and finally, Secretary of State Jena Griswold ordered a mandatory recount in the 3rd Congressional District race on Wednesday, saying the margin of difference is so slight between Republican U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert and her Democratic opponent, Adam Frisch, that the ballots need a second tally.

As long as the R's keep the majority I'm willing to bet that Kevin McCarthy and more than a few other R congressman are rooting for her to lose. She has so far refused to say whether she will support McCarthy for speaker. I suspect that at least for now she is a no.

If You Wonder What’s Wrong With Georgia – The Republican Lt Governor Appears on CNN to Tell Georgia Republicans Not to Vote for Hershel Walker

People around the country are looking at the Georgia Senate runoff between Democrat Raphael Warnock and Republican Hershel Walker. Lots of people wondering what is going on. Well, last night the Republican Party of Georgia gave an excellent example of what it means to be Republican in Georgia.

Republican Lieutenant Governor Geoff Duncan appeared on CNN to share his opinion of Republican candidate Hershel Walker. As Republican Duncan outlined during the interview, he stood in line for an hour, took a ballot at the polling location, and then decided he could just not vote for a Republican in Georgia, so he turned around and walked back out without voting.

Republican Geoff Duncan had no issue pushing this on CNN much to the smiles of the CNN producers, Democrats and the Warnock campaign. This is what it means to be a Republican in Georgia.
WATCH:

The 2022 goal of the Republican Party of Georgia is in alignment with the 2022 Republican National Committee. The goal of Mr. Duncan and others is to remove the populist movement within the RNC by destroying the Make America Great Again grassroots movement.

As if this story is credible. I instantly disliked this guy. Fox news asked if any Georgia voters observed this guy standing in line. If so they would put it on the air.
