Good! It’s sickening that we could have a governor with the IQ of a moldy loaf of bread.

Earlier in this thread, I suggested it was time for Trump to move aside and make room for DeSantis.

I was wrong.

I fell for the big lie. Something is going horribly wrong in the country right now. It feels like the house is on fire and all I have is a Dixie cup. I'm not discouraged anymore, or despondent, it's just that I don't have the tools. I'm hoping someone out there does.

Kari Lake is not conceding, and she’s assembling a legal team to contest the election, what she called “the best and brightest legal team.” I know that she has some smart people helping her, who’ve been working on election integrity since the 2020 elections.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Looks like Boebert won her house seat by about 400 votes.

An automatic recount will complete early in December.

No matter what happens with the Arizona elections this time, our side wins. There's absolutely no way people are going to let this be repeated for the 2024 presidential election.

The Alaska At large House seat is still undecided.

Alaska uses Ranked Choice Voting. Until a candidate gets to 50% of the vote, the candidate w least votes is dropped in every round of counting. Any voters who voted for the dropped candidate have their vote moved to their second choice vote.

right now:

DEM Peltola 116,322 48.1%

REP Sarah Palin 63,025 26.1 %

REP Begich 57,437 23.*%

Peltola could win if she gets to 50% . she is getting close.

REPS could have probably won this if Palin and Begich were not both running

edit: I previously said there would be a "run off" if Peltola doesn't get 50%. That is incorrect. If Palin has more votes than Begich, then the race would be decided by how the Begich voters voted for their second choice.

Also AZ Prop 308, to allow in-state college tuition to illegal aliens passed.

So, let's get this straight...Arizonians voted NO to more strict Voter ID and mail-in ballots restrictions, and they also voted YES for more rights to illegal aliens.

I wonder how many "Arizonians" who voted that way are recent transplants from CA and Shitcago.

The article was unclear and I read it twice. Now that Frisch has conceded there is no mandatory recount and Boebert wins?
